Donald Trump wasn’t kidding when he said he didn’t want to take any vacations as president. He won’t even take Thanksgiving off as president-elect.
The next president spent his holiday working to keep one of his main campaign promises of keeping jobs in America. Namely attempting to get the Carrier A.C. Company to stay in America rather than moving to Mexico as planned.
Laura Ingraham’s hilarious Thanksgiving joke won’t be told around Hillary Clinton’s table!
I am working hard, even on Thanksgiving, trying to get Carrier A.C. Company to stay in the U.S. (Indiana). MAKING PROGRESS – Will know soon!

And he wasn’t kidding. Carrier confirmed it in a tweet about an hour later.
Carrier has had discussions with the incoming administration and we look forward to working together. Nothing to announce at this time.

During the election season a video of the company’s announcement that it was moving to Mexico became a lightning rod for the loss of American jobs and became a talking point for the Trump campaign.
