At 36 years old Britney Spears still has it, and she’s not afraid to show it off.
But the pop singer and Las Vegas headliner had to ruin a perky photo she shared on social media on Friday with a social justice message for Congress.
Wearing a tight black t-shirt tied right below her chest with the phrase “We are all dreamers,” emblazoned on the front, Spears took to social media to spread her message.
“We are all Dreamers,” she tweeted to match her shirt. “Tell Congress to pass the #DreamAct.”

Yes, we all have dreams, but the term “Dreamer” connotes a specific group of people. Dreamer in the sense of the Dream Act means people who were brought to the United States illegally as minors and are still not legal residents or citizens.
In that sense we are not all Dreamers, and Spears false equivalence and guilt trip did not endear her to everyone who read he social media.
