Recent episodes of the Paramount+ series “Star Trek: Picard” contain extreme anti-American propaganda, including attacks on the U.S. Pledge of Allegiance, attacks on U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and attacks on America as a whole.
It appears that, for all intents and purposes, “Star Trek” has chosen to un-boldly go where every establishment entity has gone before, which is to say it’s gone “woke.”
The anti-American propaganda begins in episode four of season two, when the crew of “The Watcher” travel to 2024 to save humanity, according to NewsBusters.
Save humanity from what — racial essentialism, radical transgender ideology, authoritarian political leaders, pseudohistory, pseudoscience? It’s not clear.

While in 2024, Capt. Cristobal Rios, a Hispanic man, becomes separated from the crew and sustains an injury. Because of his lack of contemporary identification (he’s from the future, after all), he’s sent to a medical facility for illegal aliens. While he receives treatment, ICE agents raid the facility.
“Caught up in an ICE raid on the clinic, Rios is detained and brought to a detention facility to await processing and deportation,” according to NewsBusters.
Meanwhile, fellow crewmates Seven of Nine and Raffi Musiker manage to track Rios’ movements to the medical facility, where a nurse proceeds to smear ICE.
“Yeah, he was here. The doctor patched him up before ICE officers raided us. … You know, those *ssholes. But your friend, I hope you find him soon before ICE makes sure you never do,” the nurse says.
And so the show smears ICE agents as “*ssholes” and suggests ICE does something sinister to detained illegal aliens. In real life, these allegedly sinister actions include feeding, clothing, housing and even teaching them.
The crewmates then head to a nearby police station and confront an officer, telling her, “You can’t just kidnap people!”
A man sitting in the lobby overhears them and pulls them aside to warn them that they must find Capt. Rio before “he’s transferred, gone, no trial, no paper trail.”
FYI, in the real world, the only illegal aliens who disappear are those who abscond from justice by purposefully skipping their immigration hearings so that they may quietly melt away into the U.S. population.
The episode abruptly pivots to showing Capt. Rios inside an ICE detention facility, where upon seeing a sign displaying the Pledge of Allegiance, he accuses ICE of forcing illegal aliens to pledge allegiance to the United States.
“I pledge allegiance to the flag? They make you swear allegiance? That is hard core,” he says.
Rios is then seen confronting an ICE officer.
“What the hell is wrong with you guys? Slap on a badge, put on a uniform, you think you can treat people this way?” he says, after which the officer tases him.
The episode continues by returning to Seven of Nine and Raffi, both of whom are seen accusing ICE of “disappearing” Rios.
Again, in real life illegal aliens receive extraordinarily fair treatment in the United States. In some other countries, they face literal death:

The next episode is reportedly even worse.
“In the following episode, Fly Me To the Moon, Seven and Raffi manage to track down the Homeland Security bus that Rios has been placed on. They disable it, prompting Rios, with the help of fellow detainee Pedro, to beat up the ICE agents on board,” according to NewsBusters.
“Raffi, Seven, and Rios then proceed to free the whole bus of illegal immigrants, of course without any knowledge of whether any of them were guilty of violent crimes. Rios even congratulates Pedro on landing a ‘good hit’ on one of the now-unconscious ICE agents.”
The episode also shows the program’s main character, Capt. Jean-Luc Picard, imploring an alien living secretly on Earth to “be patient” because “humankind will change.” In response, the alien, who’s apparently black, launches into a Black Lives Matter-themed, victimhood-drenched rant about so-called privilege.
“You who has the luxury of patience here? Someone who looks like you and not like me. This world had more potential than I had ever imagined. But the hatred here, it never ends, it just swaps clothes. This century, it took off a hood and put on a suit,” the alien says.

In fairness to the show, the character’s rant coincides perfectly with the rantings and ravings of real-life racial activists on the radical far-left.
Nevertheless, these recent episodes suggest that, like virtually every other entity and institution in America, the legendary series “Star Trek” has gone “woke.”
And indeed, a recent episode of the separate show “Star Trek: Discovery” even featured far-left politician Stacey Abrams as the president of “United Earth.”

Great way to lose viewers. Will the left never learn?
Season 2 of STP is pure trash. As soon as they showed Whoopi Goldberg in episode 1 that was the sign that it was all downhill. And boy was it a straight drop to the bottom. I adored Whoopi in TNG, but she has slowly lost my respect over the last 30 years and with her recent Jew denier comments on “The View”, I want no part of her in anything I watch ever again. That, coupled with the nonchalant violence toward people whose job it is to keep their borders secure (because no country allows every person, everywhere, unfettered access anytime) has turned Star Trek into a despicable show that is nothing like what it used to be.
Like our great President Donald J. Trump said, everything woke turns to sh*t. #HadEnoughAmerica FJB!!!
FYI, I stopped following Star Trek after Enterprise which for me was the last Good Star Trek series.
All the new stuff is just garbage.

One more show I won’t get worked up about missing because it is on an expensive pay-to-see service.
The REAL.. ummm…sad part? These people actually believe what they’re saying! ICE, to them, doesn’t return illegals to their home country..no. They “dissappear” them, never to be seen again! The leftist portrayal is therefore displayed as truth, when in fact the story is fiction. It used to be science fiction, but there’s no science in it anymore. A dead borg queen is resurrected, so anything’s possible. “Q” Turns evil and can’t snap his fingers to get what he wants?
The show is sickening in its portrayal of current leftist beliefs, but the special effects makes it interesting or else wise I’d turn it off.
America – our way of life, standard of living, culture, affordability, sovereignty, security, law and order – are all under constant attack on every level and every area by the Left and Democrats. While they are so insistent upon forcing their anti-American opinions and beliefs on their “fans”, it is obvious that they are very “PRO” on the American foundation of capitalism and will gladly extract as much in profit from the American people as possible!
Can’t be forced to pledge allegiance to a country you’re not standing in. No one forces illegal aliens to enter our country, so make a u-turn and don’t let the water drown you on your way back home.

If you are a fan Star Wars, Star Trek, Marvel or any of the other fan favorites, give up on them. They have all been destroyed. Now they are all scripted by woke and groomer advocates from the left. None are worth watchig. Give it up! If you have DVD’s of your favorites, watch those.
Not happy with Star Trek Picard. Leave out the propaganda. Patrick as an executive producer you should have steered clear of this. Also as an Englishman you should not have allowed them to turn this show into rubbish. I am English born and raised in London. I am however an American citizen and have been for 30 years! Don’t change the show to allow them to be woke. Most of us are not and we like it that way. As a person you can have your own opinions just don’t shove them on us. I for one don’t lime it or agree with what you are doing. In your own four walls you can be and do what you like, not on our tv shows!
I had to cancel my Paramount+ subscription. They’ve turned Star Trek Discovery into a ship of deviates. Gay, trans, binary… soon they’ll have a pedophile. FFS! Gene Roddenberry is spinning in his grave.

Star Trek has always been on the edge of communism with no monetary system, everyone working for the betterment of society as a whole, not for individual gain. And portraying the “reality” that those standards will lead to prosperity, and the advancement of humanity.

I watched my first episode of Star Trek in 1969. I was 5 years old. I have been a trek fanatic ever since. Until now. I will no longer watch anything with all this woke BS in a show that should have none of our divisional politics in it. However that is just about EVERYTHING on TV now.
Yes they have gone WOKE on both Picard and on Discovery. I quit watching Discovery several years ago because I think the entire crew was either gay or non-binary. As for Picard yes the writers have attempted to inject WOKE into the 2024 story line and the young black character Guinan originally played by Whoopi Goldberg in the Star Trek TNG is actually living up to the Whoopi mindset of today. I have been a Star Trek fan since the 60’s and at my age of 64, William Shatner is still the Captain of the USS Enterprise NCC-1701

I watched a few episodes on tv years ago because it was something different. Then I got over it.
It sounds like star trek has gone completely comedic with the funniest of the lot, Abrams, leading the list of comics. It has truly become a sick, infantile version of itself!!

I never liked soap operas anyways. Gene lost my attention a long long time ago, not long after The Next Generation they debuted.
