A Pittsburgh news outlet and its viewers were inadvertently reminded of the unpredictable nature of live TV when someone perhaps in the control room accidentally posted a graphic of President Joe Biden at an inopportune time during the evening news.

In what one social media user satirically described as the “greatest live TV moment of all time,” when a WTAE-TV news anchor reported on a story that “A 71-year-old man was accused of inappropriately touching a 12-year-old girl at the Walmart in West Mifflin Sunday afternoon,” an image of Biden above a caption reading “State of the Union Tonight” appeared briefly.

The clip, which has generated two million views on Twitter and about 600,000 on YouTube so far, prompted much mirth on social media, given Biden’s reputation in certain contexts which had led to the president’s critics fairly or unfairly giving him the derisive nickname “Creepy Joe.”

That is, over the years, a lot of footage has been compiled about Biden, now 79, getting overly friendly with young females.

According to WTAE, the actual suspect in the case, which has nothing whatsoever to do with Joe Biden, allegedly grabbed the pre-teen inappropriately in the bread aisle of the Pittsburgh-area retail outlet where she was shopping with her mom. Cops reportedly charged the suspect with indecent assault and unlawful contact with a minor. He has denied the allegations, and he is due back in court next week.

Entirely separately, a far more serious allegation than Biden’s mere touching or hair-sniffing was leveled by former U.S. Senate staffer Tara Reade.

She claimed that that Joe Biden allegedly sexually assaulted her in 1993 when she was an aide in the then-Delaware Senator’s Capitol Hill office. Biden denied this allegation.

Here is a sample of the enormous reaction on Twitter to the viral WTAE clip:
