President Trump makes good on $1 million hurricane relief donation, but haters still had to complain

President Donald Trump has fulfilled his commitment to donate $1 million to Hurricane Harvey relief and #TheResistance is still not happy.

The president wrote 12 checks to various organizations who are helping in the recovery efforts from the monster storm, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders confirmed to The Hill.

Reach Out America and Samaritan’s Purse, two Christian organizations, were given $100,000 each.

And Habitat for Humanity, the Houston Humane Society, Portlight Inclusive Disaster Strategies, Operation Blessing, Team Rubicon, Catholic Charities, Direct Relief and the ASPCA received $25,000 each.

The Red Cross was said to be getting one of the president’s largest donations. The group didn’t confirm the amount but did say that it was “grateful to the Trumps for their generous support of our mission,” the Hill reported.

The president tweeted that it was his “great honor” to donate.

Sadly, but predictably, his charity was not good enough for his detractors.
