CNN’s Wolf Blitzer went into full on attack mode against Donald Trump‘s spokeswoman about his thoughts in 2007 on President Bill Clinton’s impeachment.

The host played a clip of Trump calling Clinton’s impeachment “nonsense” eight years ago for Katrina Pierson and began badgering her over Trump’s change in position.

“As a private citizen, when you are talking about someone you know and you are a friend with, that’s something you would say,” Pierson said.

“At the time, he said it was nonsense,” Blitzer shot back. “The whole impeachment process. He said, in that same interview — you know what else he said? He said the then-president of the United States, George W. Bush, he should be impeached for getting the U.S. involved in the war in Iraq.”

“But Wolf, you and I both know, as a private citizen you are not privy to a lot of the information you might be as a journalist or as someone might be as a sitting politician,” Pierson retorted.

Pierson’s argument seemed reasonable enough, but Blitzer continued his onslaught repeating the same question with different words several more times.

One wonders if he will question Hillary Clinton about her many “evolved” positions as thoroughly if, and when, he interviews her.
