Scaramucci was reportedly hired directly by President Donald Trump to the objections of White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus and White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon.
ABC News’ Jonathan Karl said on Twitter that when he went to ask Spicer about Scaramucci’s hiring he slammed the door in the reporter’s face.
