Police officers are supposed to exercise good judgment, but an unidentified Boston cop came up short here when he opted to go down a metal children’s slide.
The officer is in full uniform and when he came to a rest at the foot of the slide located in City Hall Plaza, his handcuffs and other objects from his utility belt were seen scattered around him — the city recently spent $95 million to upgrade the plaza.
It was clear that he was hurting when he cried out, “Oh, f*ck!”
As for his reasoning, a giggling female recording the disaster was as good a guess as any.

The officer was treated for unspecified injuries but used his own insurance and didn’t miss work to receive treatment, according to the Boston Globe.
