Professor accused of committing horrific acts with dog reportedly told investigators ‘I do it to blow off steam’

Penn State professor Themis Matsoukas was charged with a laundry list of stomach-churning offenses including “sexual intercourse with an animal” after his lewd acts were reportedly caught on trail cam.

The award-winning educator was allegedly caught with his pants down – literally – earlier in the year. WTAJ reports that park rangers reviewed footage from outside the park bathrooms that allegedly shows Matasoukas masturbating with a collie. A dog matching the description of the one seen on the video was allegedly found in his home when police executed a search warrant.

“A search warrant was executed at Matsoukas’ home where investigators were looking for a silver iPad that may have been used at the park on April 13th,” WTAJ wrote. “It was noted in the criminal complaint that Matsoukas appeared nervous when they arrived at his home, saying ‘I’m done, I’m dead. You don’t understand, I do it to blow off steam.'”

Matsoukas was also reportedly seen attempting to film his own depraved acts on an iPad. Authorities believe that the suspect has been doing this kind of thing since 2014, based on photos that were taken by trail cam.

“Themis Matsoukas has been relieved of his responsibilities and is on leave,” reported Centre Daily Times based on a statement from the school.

He is being charged with open lewdness, indecent exposure, sexual intercourse with an animal, animal cruelty, and disorderly conduct. A hearing has been scheduled for July 19.
