Another day, another drunk airline passenger fights cops while getting dragged off flight

Something about the last few years has made people WAY too comfortable getting drunk and acting a fool on airplanes, but I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t my favorite genre of shaming video.

A young woman forced a Southwest Airlines plane to return to the gate before takeoff after reportedly putting her feet on the seat in front of her and kicking the passenger. You know, like children do.

That wasn’t the end of her poor decision making though. Deputies boarded the plane to remove the 25-year-old toddler, but she refused. Unfortunately for her, the cops just wouldn’t take no for an answer and the rest was captured on video:

For those wondering if she suddenly became any more compliant after being removed from the plane, you’ll be shocked to discover the answer is “no.”

“She began fighting with [the deputies] and continued to fight them on the jet bridge and into the public seating area,” Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Capt. Jason Rivarde told the New Orleans Advocate.

The woman was booked for “three counts of battery of a police officer, disturbing the peace while drunk, two counts of resisting an officer and criminal mischief.”
