TikTok star brings 100-yr-old veteran to tears with surprise trip to Disneyland

From a stroll with his walker to a fun-filled day at Disneyland, one centenarian got the surprise of his life when he agreed to a trip to the Happiest Place On Earth with a relative stranger.

In a video posted to TikTok with more than 15.9 million views, social media influencer Isaiah Garza asked the 100-yr-old gentleman, who is reportedly a U.S. veteran, if he was up for an adventure.

“I’m sorry to bother you. I’ve had a really, really rough day,” Garza said, approaching the suspendered man with a walker. “I just wanted to see if you’d be willing to go to Disneyland with me today.”

Surprised by the invite but excited by the prospect, he quickly agreed to join Garza.

“Hey! That’s great,” the gentleman said. “You really would take me? My gosh. I can’t believe this.”

Garza is an entrepreneur, jewelry designer, philanthropist, public speaker, singer and social media influencer and often uses social media platforms to document random acts of kindness.

“I’m here to get spread love, make people smile and make a difference!” the influencer with 6 million followers said the YouTube page bio.

In Garza’s video with the unnamed man, the two are seen strolling the park, enjoying a ride on the Tea Cups, meeting Disney characters, and grinning ear to ear.

“He hasn’t been on a ride in 50 years,” the 32-year-old Garza wrote on the video. “We became best friends for the day.”

Garza is seen pushing the newfound friend around the park and at one point presents him with a pair of Mickey Mouse ears that Garza helps position on his head.

After a stop to show off their dance moves, Garza asks the surprised cohort how it feels to spend the day at Disneyland.

“Oh my gosh,” the elderly man said. “This is one of the best days of my life. I feel like I might be dreaming or something. I thought my life was over.”

Garza’s random act of kindness impacted the man more than either realized.

“I will remember this day for a long time,” overcome with emotion and tearing up, the recipient of Garza’s generosity continued. “You don’t know how much I appreciate this. You really, you don’t know.”
