Even Jimmy Fallon bewildered by President Biden’s icky hygiene practices at bill signing ceremony

Even Joe Biden fan Jimmy Fallon has implied that the president’s apparently unhygienic interactions during the Inflation Reduction Act signing ceremony seemed odd.

The NBC “Tonight Show” host played a clip of Biden, who has recently recovered from COVID-19, taking off his mask and coughing into his hand at the bill-signing event.

Sounding like a publicist for Biden despite the latter’s tanking job approval rating, Fallon’s less-than-funny monologue on Tuesday evening claimed that “things have been going pretty great for Biden” after he returned from a South Carolina vacation.

An enthusiastic Fallon described the legislation as “historic,” telling his approving, if not gullible, liberal audience that “experts say that it’s the most significant climate bill in U.S. history.”

In an apparent allusion to The Bachelor/Bachelorette reality TV franchise, Fallon quipped that “[Biden] may not have gotten the first-impression rose, but he’s working his way towards an invite to the fantasy suite.”

With an unconvincing Trump impression, the comedian also made an unfunny veiled reference to the FBI raid at Mar-a-Lago

“Right after he signed the bill, Biden was, like, ‘what are those strange sounds? And a staffer was like, ‘that’s applause, sir,'” Fallon added in the video embedded above.

Fallon continued: “Meanwhile, as a precaution, Biden wore a mask to the signing ceremony because earlier today he was just with the first lady who tested positive for COVID.

“Let’s see how that went,” Fallon deadpanned, as he showed a clip, as alluded to above, of the POTUS awkwardly greeting and shaking hands with Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, removing his facial covering, and then clearing his throat.

With several mannerisms that were meant to be comical, Fallon acted speechless at first, and then said “after he signed the bill, everyone was like, ’No, you can keep the pen,'” and then pretended to cough and fake-lick his hand.

As an aside, is it any wonder that Greg Gutfeld’s eponymous Fox News show is regularly beating the alphabet networks’ late-night so-called entertainment programs?

After placing his signature on the measure, which some critics have renamed the Inflation Corruption Act, Biden handed a pen to U.S. Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.), the ex-inflation hawk who caved and thus enabled the federal spending spree to pass on a straight party-line vote via a parliamentary procedure known as reconciliation.

Biden then glad-handed the sycophants in attendance.

Citing University of Pennsylvania economists, even CBS News has admitted that despite its lofty title, the legislation that has an approximately $700 billion price tag will have little or no effect on out-of-control inflation created by Democrats’ already profligate spending.

Whether about $400 billion of that will actually address global warming in any meaningful way (other than enriching Democrat donors) remains to be seen.

Making matters worse, the Congressional Budget Office says that the bill — which also dramatically expands the IRS workforce — will hit middle-class working Americans with $20 billion in new taxes at a time when they are experiencing challenges in buying groceries or filling up their cars with gas.

Biden had claimed that the act would not impact taxpayers earning less than $400,000.

Democrats in Congress jammed the bill through even though the CBO has yet to finish its scoring.
