Fox Business host Charles Payne accused President Biden of “deliberately” destroying the nation’s economy and waging war against American businesses in order to “fundamentally change” the United States of America.
“What we’re witnessing right now is a failure of people that have been put in charge by epic proportions,” Payne said Friday on “Fox and Friends.”
Payne pointed to the Biden administration’s tone-deaf approach to policies.
“Both have the same problem. [Federal Reserve Chairman] Jerome Powell and President Biden: not listening to the average American,” he stated. “Not listening.”
“Know what they’ve done for the last two years?” Payne asked. “They’ve told us how we feel instead of listening to us telling them how we felt.”
One only needs to read Biden’s Twitter feed to see how out of touch he is with most Americans.
As an increasing number of citizens are having to choose between filling their gas tanks and groceries, Biden continues to insist the economy is doing better than ever.
“The fact is America is in a stronger economic position today than just about any other country in the world,” he claimed earlier this month. “Independent experts have even projected that the U.S. economy could grow faster than China’s economy this year. That hasn’t happened since 1976.”

The state of things is so bad, that even CNN couldn’t ignore consumer sentiment.
Appearing with Anderson Cooper on Tuesday, CNN’s senior data reporter Harry Enten said of inflation, “It’s awful… and how people feel about it is even worse.”
“You look at the consumer sentiment right now and what do you see?” Enten asked. “This is the worst consumer sentiment ever measured by the University of Michigan going all the way back since 1952.”

“Your policies have wrecked the average lives of Americans,” Payne said on Fox News, addressing the president directly. “And what’s really the sad part, because we all make mistakes, is you did it deliberately.”
“You deliberately wanted gasoline prices to go higher,” he continued. “You deliberately did this.”
“You deliberately have taken this great nation, and you’ve got it wobbly because you want to change — fundamentally change, to borrow President Obama’s old saying — they fundamentally want to change who we are as a nation,” he said.
Payne went on to warn Americans that, while the current administration may be focused on the oil companies, the war it is waging on capitalism extends to every business owner.
“The war on capitalism, the war on for-profit corporations — Right now it’s oil companies,” Payne said. “But anyone who’s in business, whether you own a store on Main Street, anyone who’s in business to try to make money, maybe buy a house, maybe send their kids to college, be warned, this is a war against you as well.”
