Tucker Carlson slams the ‘deranged’ Jan. 6 primetime propaganda hearings: ‘We’re not playing along’

Fox News host Tucker Carlson tore into the Jan. 6 select committee’s televised inquisition hearings highlighting the “deranged” lying and propaganda that leftists are pushing concerning the protest.
“You know it tells you a lot about the priorities of a ruling class that the rest of us are getting yet another lecture about January 6th tonight from our moral inferiors, no less. An outbreak of mob violence, a forgettably minor outbreak by recent standards, that took place more than a year and a half ago, but they’ve never stopped talking about it,” Carlson noted, opening his monologue.
“In the meantime, in the 18 months since January 6, gas prices have doubled. Drug ODs have reached their highest point ever. The U.S. economy is now careening toward a devastating recession at best and scariest and least noted of all, this country has never in its history been closer to a nuclear war,” he pointed out.
“Yet the other networks can’t be bothered to cover any of that tonight. Instead, they’ve interrupted their regularly scheduled programming to bring you yet another extended primetime harangue from Nancy Pelosi and Liz Cheney about Donald Trump and QAnon. The whole thing is insulting,” Carlson charged.

“In fact, it’s deranged and we’re not playing along. This is the only hour on an American news channel that will not be carrying their propaganda live. They are lying, and we are not going to help them do it. What we will do instead is to try to tell you the truth. We’ve attempted to do that since the day this happened,” he asserted.
Carlson then went on to contend that the events that day were not an insurrection and that only one person was shot and killed, a 36-year-old military veteran named Ashli Babbitt.
“Last night, CBS Nightly News told its viewers that insurrectionists at the Capitol on January 6 ’caused the deaths of five police officers.’ That is a pure lie. There is nothing true about it, and they know that perfectly well,” the conservative host stated.
“In fact, precisely zero police officers were killed by rioters on January 6, not five, none. Not a single one. So, how’d they get to five? Well, CBS is counting the suicides of local police officers that took place after January 6, in some cases, long after January 6,” he continued.

“The fifth death that CBS News is referring to is of Capitol Hill police officer Brian Sicknick. You will remember his name. Sicknick’s body lay in state at the Capitol after the media told us he’d been beaten to death by Trump voters with a fire extinguisher,” he said referring to the high-profile police officer’s death the media has obsessively focused on since that day.
“Once again, that’s not true. … The D.C. medical examiner performed an autopsy and the autopsy report showed that Officer Brian Sicknick had not suffered any kind of blunt force trauma. He was not beaten to death. He died of a stroke in his office later. No one has been charged in Officer Sicknick’s death because Officer Sicknick wasn’t murdered,” Carlson reported.
“They are lying to you. That is provable. Not a single person you just saw has apologized for lying. Not a single one. And it’s not just the news media,” he commented.
“But what did happen exactly on January 6? What’s the truth of that day? Well, that’s still unknown. From the extensive video we have of January 6, it’s clear that some in the crowd, more than a few, were encouraging protesters to breach the Capitol, to commit felonies. We’re not guessing at that, we’ve showed you the tape,” Carlson contended.

“We have pictures of their faces. In the case of a man called Ray Epps, we know his name, but they’ve never been charged. Ray Epps was standing in exactly the same place that a lot of people who went to jail were standing, but he wasn’t charged. His name was taken off the FBI’s Most Wanted list. Why is that? It doesn’t make any sense at all,” the Fox News host remarked.
“The January 6 committee will not explain that after a year, millions of dollars, and a thousand interviews. They won’t tell us, nor will they tell us how many FBI agents and assets were in the crowd that day and what were they doing there. Why can’t we know that? And why are they still hiding thousands of hours of surveillance footage from within the Capitol? If the point of the committee was to get the truth out there, why can’t we see the tape?” he asked.
“Why did authorities open the doors of the Capitol to rioters and let them walk in, usher them in the doors? That’s utterly bizarre. You saw that live. No one’s ever explained it. What’s the explanation for that? And by the way, whatever happened to the mysterious pipe bomber whose bombs we later learned many months later, Kamala Harris’ bodyguards discovered? Kamala Harris told us she was at the Capitol that day, but she wasn’t. She was at the DNC with a pipe bomb outside. Her bodyguards found that bomb, but she lied about that. She hid that. Why?” Carlson wondered.
“That’s got to be one of the weirdest stories ever. What does it mean, Liz Cheney? Silence. And of course, above all, they lied about the reason that January 6 happened in the first place and you know what it is. The entire country watched Joe Biden get what they claim was 10 million more votes than Barack Obama himself got. Joe Biden got 10 million more votes than Barack Obama got, and a lot of those votes arrived after the election,” he recounted.

“In a lot of places, voting was stopped in the middle of the night. Why? In the biggest states in the country, voter ID was optional. Why is that okay? A lot of the protesters on January 6 were very upset about that and they should have been. All of us should be, but the January 6 committee ignored all of that completely. Instead, on the basis of zero evidence, no evidence whatsoever, they blamed the entire riot on white supremacy,” the conservative pundit charged.
“There’s no evidence for that – none. The people at the Capitol, including the ones who broke the law by entering the Capitol, which is a crime, those people to a person said they were upset because they believed their democracy had been stolen from them and whether all of their claims are true or not, that’s a valid reason to be upset. But rather than reassure the rest of us that actually our democracy is sound, elections are fair and transparent, there’s no cheating and we can prove it, rather than do that, they call half the country names and not just names, the worst thing you can be called, a white supremacist. And then, most bewilderingly of all, virtually no Republican in Washington pushed back against any of that,” Carlson accusingly stated.
Not only will we not help them….we will in fact remember this come January!

“But, you know what will get you to insurrection? If you ignore the legitimate concerns of a population; if you brush them aside as if they don’t matter when gas goes to $5 and you say ‘buy an electric car.’ When cities become so filthy and so dangerous that you can’t live there; when the economy becomes so distorted that your own children have no hope of getting married and giving you grandchildren; when you don’t care at all about any of that and all you do is talk about yourself, nonstop – you might get an insurrection if you behave like that, speaking of insurrection,” Carlson warned.

The “LEFT” is completely lying about this whole damn thing, and they are praying the American people will fall for what they are saying.
Ratings for that night are out and they are abyismal.
I made a post that I would rather watch paint dry – at night – in the rain than watch that farce of a committee.
Tucker is the best voice on television- by a country mile.
You have to be a real brain dead sheep to listen to an unconstitutional committee with NO real representative from the minority party and does not allow any cross examination. I remember reading about this in history books around 1933-45 about the National Socialist German Worker’s party which is what the Democratic party in this country has turned into…
I watched some of that ridiculous hearing….if you want to call it that. After 15 minutes of listening to the messed up opinions from the left and the RHINO Liz Cheney, I had to change the channel. How can these so called intelligent people sit there and say such lies. Seems these Demonrats have perfected their way of misrepresenting the truth. How good they have become and twisting the truth. It was so disgusting any good American would have had to switch channels. I recall all to well that Jan. 6th day and what Pres. Trump said to his supporters. I never heard him say that people should storm the Capitol Building. And not ONE Word about the many evil protesters weaing Trump’s MAGA hats or carrying his flags who actually were far from being a Trump supporter and came only to cause trouble.Nothing said about the two women who were brutally killed by a police officer and the other shot before she even knew a Capitol Police was aiming his gun at her. She had bearly climbed through a window when her life was snubbed out. A veteran she was too. Shameful act. She was unarmed.
Or Susan Boyland, beaten to death with literally a tree limb by a Capitol Police officer.
Why doesn’t anyone mention Roseann Boyland who was suffocated by the DC Metro nazis then beaten to death by that black women cop? She was a person too! Roseann, not the murdering “officer.” When the shoe is on the other foot, I pray to God the Repubs have the balls and commitment to go after every last one of these demonrats and RINOs and prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law…….after locking them in solitary in GITMO for a decade first.

The hypocrisy of the Democrats is stunning and abhorrent. It is against Federal law for protestors to be outside the homes of Supreme Court justices, yet Schumer and Pelosi vocally encouraged it, even as a would be assassin is arrested outside the home of Brett Kavanaugh. They also encourage the doxing that publishes their home addresses. So who are the real “Insurrectionists”? All the mainstream media is complicit. For almost two years their attack dogs at the FBI have been rounding up and arresting citizens who were exercising their right to protest on Jan. 6, some who never even entered the Capital. Some that did have been locked up unconstitutionally without due process or bail in a D.C. gulag for a year and a half. These are the tactics of the KGB or the CCP and I can’t see how we are now any different. The Democrats have destroyed the “rule of law” and weaponized all three letter agencies; (the FBI, the CIA, the IRS, the DOJ and even the DOD) against American citizens who don’t bow to their political ideology and it is destroying America.
It started with a bus load or more of FBI agents arriving at the Capitol Bldg. early on Jan 6th. They were dressed all in black, identities hidden and unknown. They opened windows and unlocked doors around the building. Film from inside showed us this happened. Their plan, the one they had been working on for awhile, including inciting a march on the Capitol was in full swing on the streets of Washington DC the night prior to Jan 6th. Their purpose, to “incite” and attempt to whip Trump voters into a frenzy, had commenced. Trump voters were “waved” in, smiled at by the guards at the doors. The plan was at that point operational.
Yep, a busload of people from my old church went for the Day of Prayer. They were videotaping the BLM / Antifa thugs being waved in to park their black SUVs, all dressed in black with face coverings. ALL of them have cell phone pics of this. ALL of them.
Yet the charade continues! Hope the rating was really low, I was watching my grasses grow. 😂
The main focus of the so-called “Committee” is nothing more than a political one…trying to keep President Trump from seeking reelection. The Committee is not an impartial one as is exemplified by the refusal to allow two actual Republicans to sit on the Committee. The two that were chosen are definitely Trump haters. I just hope and pray that we have legally held elections in November, otherwise I fear we are headed to total unrest!
it is a shame that the democrats have hidden all the video tape that showed what happened on jan 6th. they claim it is for national security, but it is really for the democratic’s party security.

They have not been balance as they have not acknowledged the deaths of Protestors. One at the hands of police in an unjustified shooting.
As a condemnation of Trump it completely fails.
If it is meant for a distraction of the destruction Democrats and their administration is bringing on the American people it has and will fail.
We see what this is.
Unfortunately, not all. Many are totally clueless, uninformed, low/no information voters who go about their business without a thought of how their disinterest affects the future for their children and grandchildren.
What these lying fools refuse to understand is half of the country doesn’t believe them. If they continue to try to take away our liberty, there will be a reckoning. For the most part, people have been patient. But, our patients is running out. Why do you think Demoncrats are attacking the Second Amendment? If you think it’s about keeping schools safe, you are being fooled. They want to take away our guns, so it will be harder to take our country back. Fortunately, there are many of us that believe in our Constitution. They will find out in November, that we won’t stand for their stupidity. If it takes that long.
This so-called committee, under the direction of Nancy Pelosi, is attempting to rewrite history by lying about the events of Jan6 and covering up any facts such as the murder of unarmed Ashley Babbitt by a member of the Capital police!!
When antifa and blm were burning down businesses, breaking out windows and LOOTING, beating and really killing police, not a word except about the “right to peacefully protest”. Hard to imagine elected representatives hate this country as much as they do.
