Radical Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón failed epically when he tried to tweet a remark in commemoration of the upcoming Memorial Day holiday on Monday.
Fortunately, Mike Garcia, one of California’s few Republican Congressmen was there to set him straight.
“When I was 18 years old, I joined the United States Army,” Gascón wrote on social media on Saturday.
“I’d like to wish everyone a happy and safe Memorial Day weekend as we reflect on and remember those who have served our country,” he added.

Garcia, a veteran pilot for the United States Navy, managed to knock his message and criticize his on-the-job performance as District Attorney of the most populous county in the country.
“Are you a ghost?” Garcia asked. “If not, you have the wrong holiday @GeorgeGascon. Veterans Day is in November. This weekend we honor those who didn’t make it home. It’s not hard. Neither is recognizing the difference between felonies and misdemeanors.”

Gascón’s progressive policies have left many Angelinos with a bad taste in their mouth as crime is out of control and the Sheriff refuses to work with the George Soros funded District Attorney because he believes his woke policies “embolden” criminals like Antifa.

In fact, multiple policies that he has implemented since taking office in Dec. 2020 have been so bad that he had to at least partially walk back on them after backlash from the community.
A policy that prohibited a cash bail option in the name of “equity” was rolled back earlier this month, according to a report by Fox News.
“After listening to the community, victims and members of this Office, I have decided to allow limited exceptions to the pre-trial release policy while such a program is finalized,” a memo from Gascón’s office read.
In February, he had to loosen up on his extremely lenient policies for “juveniles” which recently allowed a mystifying sentence for a 26-year-old biological male who sexually assaulted a 10-year-old girl prior to his 18th birthday: the child rapist got two years in a girl’s juvenile detention facility.
The second effort to recall Gascón since his election is underway. The recall campaign noted earlier this month that they had already gotten 450,000 signatures, close to the 566,857 total signatures needed to get the recall in front of voters in the November election.
Supporters include “98% of Gascon’s own line prosecutors” and 34 cities in Los Angeles County that have “issued votes of no confidence in Gascon.”
Since George Gascon took office, life in Los Angeles has become significantly more dangerous. Enough is enough, safety must be restored. Help put the man responsible up for a vote.
Restore Safety.
Recall Gascon.
