Miranda Devine dishes on ‘delicious’ details of Durham case, predicts ‘ramifications’ will be ‘momentous’

Journalist Miranda Devine contends that the trial of attorney Michael Sussmann on one count of lying to the Federal Bureau of Investigation may seem minor, but it has more profound implications because it could lead to failed 2016 Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s alleged role in the Russiagate hoax that hamstrung the Donald Trump administration.

Sussmann is charged with making a false statement to the FBI in relation to “‘a covert communications channel’ between the Trump Organization and Russia’s Alfa Bank, which has ties to the Kremlin,” Fox News previously reported.

Sussmann reportedly told the agency that he wasn’t representing a client at the time.

On the “Fox & Friends” segment Thursday morning, co-host Pete Hegseth noted that prosecutors with Special Counsel John Durham’s investigation presented records alleging that Sussmann billed the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign for time spent meeting with the FBI.

Devine, a Fox News contributor and New York Post columnist who authored the “Laptop from Hell” best-seller told Hegseth that “the details are just delicious the way they’re rolling out. And, you know, there you have a lawyer, as per usual, he’s hoisted on his own petard because he couldn’t help but charge the Clinton campaign $800 per hour…to perpetrate this dirty-tricks campaign against Donald Trump on behalf of Hillary Clinton.”

She continued: “Sussmann is up for misleading, lying, to the FBI. But really, at the heart of this is Hillary Clinton. She sanctioned, she approved this attempt to dirty-up Donald Trump and paint him as an agent of the Kremlin. The ramifications of that dirty trick went on, crippled the Trump presidency, did great damage to this country, was the source of a lot of the rancor and division that we see now.”

“And God forbid, also was part of Putin’s invasion of Ukraine and the damage that that’s done to everyone in the world. So this is not a trivial issue. It may seem that the charge is small, but actually, the ramifications and the report that will come from John Durham are momentous. And we should all pay very close attention to it,” she concluded.

In the meantime, Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign manager Robby Mook reportedly has testified in court that his boss allegedly agreed to give the unfounded Trump-Alfa Bank information to the media.

Hegseth punctuated the conversation with the hope that the federal jury in liberal Washington, D.C., will objectively view the evidence in the Sussmann case.

As part of his probe into the origins of the Russiagate malfeasance that has been ongoing for several years, Durham is expected to indict others who were involved in the coming weeks.

At the beginning of the segment, Devine called out Democrats for immediately politicizing and blame-gaming the horrific mass shooting at the Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas.

  2. Why isn’t bizpack or their despicable pal americannewswire doing anything about all this damned spam? Do they get paid by these trolls? They’re quick enough to jump on anyone who says anything they don’t like; why are they not dealing with the spammers?

    1. You and everyone else knows they must monitor the scams and yet they let them post. They are probably getting paid by them like you said.

  3. Miranda has been right on target with her investigations, so, I pray that she`s right, as successfully prosecuting the corrupt Biden crime family would be a good start to draining the Swamp.

  5. Sussman will be fined 48 cents and put on probation for 22 minutes. Case closed.
    Meanwhile, the Robbie Mook suicide is pending, and no one else wants to be next, including Durham.

  6. Everything always comes FULL CIRCLE…. It may take time, BUT the deeds of the Clinton Mafia will come back to bite them in the ass… I only hope they are still alive to be able to go to prison… the REAL question should be … who is the real mastermind ? Do we think that Hillary and Slick Willie are smart enough to have put all this in motion ?
