Ben Shapiro dissects media manipulation of ‘Great Replacement Theory’: It belongs to radicals on BOTH sides

Conservative political commentator Ben Shapiro pointed out on his show Monday that the left is attempting to expand the definition of the “Great Replacement Theory” in order to suppress free speech on anything they don’t like in the wake of the horrific mass shooting in Buffalo, New York.

“Now what the left is trying to do is broaden out the term ‘Great Replacement Theory’ to include any sort of normal concerns about illegal immigration, any suggestions that demographic voting patterns make a difference, which of course everybody both left and right knows that they do,” Shapiro correctly noted.

“I mean, the left has been claiming for literally as long as I’ve been alive, the changing demographic patterns in the United States were going to shift the politics of the country in a progressive direction,” he asserted. “So if you wanna talk about the ‘Great Replacement Theory’ and what this person actually thought, you have to actually read the manifesto and you actually have to know what the ‘Great Replacement Theory’ is,” he argued.

“The ‘Great Replacement Theory’ is the theory that essentially there is a… there are a bunch of Jewish elites and this coterie of Jewish elites wish to pervert wishes, to pervert the racial stock of a country like the United States, a predominantly white country in order to weaken the country from within,” Shapiro said defining the terminology. “It is not concerned about illegal immigration. It is not concerned about cultural assimilation. The ‘Great Replacement Theory’ is the idea that there can never be cultural assimilation. The ‘Great Replacement Theory’ is the idea that — race is destiny.”

“In fact, the racial essentialism of the ‘Great Replacement Theory’ looks a lot more like wokeism than it does like mainstream conservatism or mainstream liberalism. Neither of the two major democratic parties is a believer that simply because you are of a particular race, this means that you are inherently, genetically designed in order to vote a particular way. That is relegated to the woke-ist left and it’s relegated to the white supremacist right,” Shapiro stated.

“Basic concerns over illegal immigration and how that trips voting patterns, that is not the ‘Great Replacement Theory.’ Concerns about whether new immigrants in the United States are going to assimilate to the American wave. That’s not the ‘Great Replacement Theory,'” he charged.

“So what the left is trying to do is take the classical ‘Great Replacement Theory,’ a neo-Nazi white supremacist theory, and then conflate that with all these other normal concerns. And then say, if you have those concerns, you are part of the movement that led to this mass shooting in Buffalo, New York,” Shapiro concluded.

In the Buffalo shooter’s 180-page manifesto, Ben Shapiro is mentioned a number of times, “including as an example of the ‘rat’ phenotype of Jewish people,” according to the Washington Examiner.

The alleged shooter also described himself as an “ethno-nationalist eco-fascist national socialist” who loathes libertarianism and conservatism, according to his manifesto.

“Ask yourself, truly, what has modern conservatism managed to conserve?” he reportedly wrote, according to the Examiner. “Not a thing has been conserved other than corporate profits and the ever-increasing wealth of the 1% that exploit the people for their own benefit. Conservatism is dead. Thank god. Now let us bury it and move on to something of worth.”

The attempt to link conservatives to the shooting via the “Great Replacement Theory” is a political move to discredit the GOP. The words of the shooter give weight to that, echoing sentiments from the left.

The left has seized upon the “Great Replacement Theory” to smear conservatives, especially Tucker Carlson while negating illegal immigration and silencing free speech. The theory contends that the Biden administration is intentionally trying “to change the racial mix of the country” through immigration.

In political terms, this policy is called ‘The Great Replacement,’ the replacement of legacy Americans with more obedient people from far-away countries,” Carlson previously explained regarding illegal immigration. “They brag about it all the time, but if you dare to say it’s happening they will scream at you with maximum hysteria.”

  1. The strange thing about the dems. and the replacement theory is that they have been encouraging killing black babies in huge numbers, 40% of all abortions, or they would already have non- whites in the majority. Maybe the dems. don’t want the number of blacks to get too high because they don’t trust them to stay on the Democratic plantation. They are wising up.

  2. White population of US (1960)- 88%
White population of US (2020)- 57.8%
Nothin to see here folks. Move on. It’s a conspiracy theory and you’re racist if you question it.

    1. The White population has not been reproducing in numbers sufficient to replace the numbers. White women have been putting off child-rearing until later in life. White families have fewer children than people of color. In addition, White people are giving birth to bi-racial babies with increased frequency. So, the White population has decreased over time. Not rocket science.
