Signals of big changes coming to Twitter are being sent out by Elon Musk, who rocked the tech world when he became the company’s largest shareholder last week and is now a powerful voice in the social media platform’s future direction.
The Tesla and SpaceX billionaire now controls nearly 73.5 million shares in the San Francisco-based company, a 9.2 percent stake according to the SEC and has been invited to join the board, a sign that very soon, leftist lunatics won’t be running the asylum and badly needed adult leadership has entered the picture.
Musk, who prior to his stock purchase had been critical of Twitter’s disregard for free speech with the “de facto public town square” which has censored important news stories with one example being Hunter Biden’s laptop and silenced conservative voices including former President Donald J. Trump who was banned when he was still in the White House, and was recently asked whether a new platform was needed.
Not to mention that Twitter has become a happy hunting ground for vicious leftist activists who use the platform to dox, harass and intimidate those who aren’t sufficiently loyal to the Democratic party or are critical to the “woke” left’s orthodoxy, especially when it comes to transgenderism.
“Is Twitter dying?” Musk asked in a Saturday tweet accompanied by a list of the top 10 most followed accounts that “rarely tweet and post very little content.”
Most of these “top” accounts tweet rarely and post very little content.

“For example, @taylorswift13 hasn’t posted anything in 3 months,” he tweeted, adding, “And @justinbieber only posted once this entire year.”

The new board member also proposed some key changes at Twitter regarding the platform’s enhanced paid service Twitter Blue which launched in June 2020 including giving everyone who signs up getting an authentication checkmark, not a suggestion that is likely to go over well with the haughty blue checks.

In another tweet, he wrote “And no ads. The power of corporations to dictate policy is greatly enhanced if Twitter depends on advertising money to survive.”

He also engaged in a bit of trolling including a poll asking, “Convert Twitter SF HQ to homeless shelter since no one shows up anyway.”

As of early Sunday morning there were over 1.1 million responses with a super duper majority of over 90 percent voting in favor of accommodating San Francisco’s homeless population.
In another poll, Musk asked, “Delete the w in twitter?”

The question had drawn nearly 740,000 responses as of Sunday morning with 56 percent expressing support for the name change.
In addition, Musk tweeted out a poll that has been spun to suggest that Republicans are skeptical of The Weather Channel when the larger picture is how much that they distrust the mainstream media as a whole in contrast to Democrats who despite a veritable mountain of evidence showing that the media is corrupt and dishonest, continue to have faith in the megaphones that serve interests of the powerful establishment.

Following his stock purchase, Musk responded to a welcome from the company’s India-born left-wing CEO Parag Agrawal who has openly expressed disregard for the First Amendment, a bedrock American principle that has been under assault, especially by the “public-private partnership” that allows the Biden administration to circumvent the Constitution by outsourcing the dirty work to its corporate allies.
Looking forward to working with Parag & Twitter board to make significant improvements to Twitter in coming months!

“Looking forward to working with Parag & Twitter board to make significant improvements to Twitter in coming months!” Musk wrote, teasing the coming shakeup.
