Signals of big changes coming to Twitter are being sent out by Elon Musk, who rocked the tech world when he became the company’s largest shareholder last week and is now a powerful voice in the social media platform’s future direction.

The Tesla and SpaceX billionaire now controls nearly 73.5 million shares in the San Francisco-based company, a 9.2 percent stake according to the SEC and has been invited to join the board, a sign that very soon, leftist lunatics won’t be running the asylum and badly needed adult leadership has entered the picture.

Musk, who prior to his stock purchase had been critical of Twitter’s disregard for free speech with the “de facto public town square” which has censored important news stories with one example being Hunter Biden’s laptop and silenced conservative voices including former President Donald J. Trump who was banned when he was still in the White House, and was recently asked whether a new platform was needed.

Not to mention that Twitter has become a happy hunting ground for vicious leftist activists who use the platform to dox, harass and intimidate those who aren’t sufficiently loyal to the Democratic party or are critical to the “woke” left’s orthodoxy, especially when it comes to transgenderism.

“Is Twitter dying?” Musk asked in a Saturday tweet accompanied by a list of the top 10 most followed accounts that “rarely tweet and post very little content.”

“For example, @taylorswift13 hasn’t posted anything in 3 months,” he tweeted, adding,  “And @justinbieber only posted once this entire year.”

The new board member also proposed some key changes at Twitter regarding the platform’s enhanced paid service Twitter Blue which launched in June 2020 including giving everyone who signs up getting an authentication checkmark, not a suggestion that is likely to go over well with the haughty blue checks.

In another tweet, he wrote “And no ads. The power of corporations to dictate policy is greatly enhanced if Twitter depends on advertising money to survive.”

He also engaged in a bit of trolling including a poll asking, “Convert Twitter SF HQ to homeless shelter since no one shows up anyway.”

As of early Sunday morning there were over 1.1 million responses with a super duper majority of over 90 percent voting in favor of accommodating San Francisco’s homeless population.

In another poll, Musk asked, “Delete the w in twitter?”

The question had drawn nearly 740,000 responses as of Sunday morning with 56 percent expressing support for the name change.

In addition, Musk tweeted out a poll that has been spun to suggest that Republicans are skeptical of The Weather Channel when the larger picture is how much that they distrust the mainstream media as a whole in contrast to Democrats who despite a veritable mountain of evidence showing that the media is corrupt and dishonest, continue to have faith in the megaphones that serve interests of the powerful establishment.

Following his stock purchase, Musk responded to a welcome from the company’s India-born left-wing CEO Parag Agrawal who has openly expressed disregard for the First Amendment, a bedrock American principle that has been under assault, especially by the “public-private partnership” that allows the Biden administration to circumvent the Constitution by outsourcing the dirty work to its corporate allies.

“Looking forward to working with Parag & Twitter board to make significant improvements to Twitter in coming months!” Musk wrote, teasing the coming shakeup.

  1. The top 10 are all demoncrap libtard communistic woketard GHB kool-aid drinking P.O.S.s. because all the Republicans accounts are suspended or terminated. Just saying

  2. I hope and pray Elon Musk buys Twitter and sends those snot nose liberals into a tail spin and they freakin die

  3. Let’s hope that Musk can right the many wrongs committed by twitter daily. The only speech they don’t allow is that of the conservative American. A Jihadist is more than welcome there as well as other violent groups and their speech, just not American Conservatives it appears.

  4. Dieing to become a freedom network ! Cancel culture is run by who ? Elon has a grip on his own magical world of musk . Don’t fail us now !

  5. Is it possible to salvage Twitter? The censor clowns need to go. If they are anchored in their jobs, then cut their pay to minimum wage so the rats will jump ship. Stop flagging key words like Ivermectin, Trump, Republican, Biden, Payoff, Hunter and laptop, just to mention a few..

  6. Can hardly wait until Musk puts out a tweet that promotes free speech that most have been censored for. I can see the snowflakes resignations as payback for Trumpers

  7. If I were Musk, I would deep 6 most of the management and all of the policy makers, or pull his billions out and bankrupt the company. But for sure move HQ from SF and let Cali have the space for their homeless.

  8. Mr. Agrawal needs to understand that the 1st amendment does not require you to speak. It protects your right to speak. You can shut your mouth if you don’t like it.

  9. Yes, twitter is dying a horrible death by many cuts. Epong being the largest cut. It don’t matter…..they were going down the tube anyway. Mostly idiots are on the twitter. Let them woller in their twitter shitter!

  10. I’d like to see ELON buy up all social media outlets. They’ve shown just how throwing elections is what they do. All need to be REGULATED, because they are all in the tank for democrats..

  11. Elon is a trip. He will surely shake things up. Stay tuned yall it’s gonna get interesting

  12. How about an article: “Is BPR dying”? The new format SUCKS. There are now longer notifications of comments and putting an F in your comments brings up pop ups and alleged comedy that cannot be shut off! Getting time to dump the dying BPR! And BPR wants donations????? Fat chance! Oh yeah, what is with the stupid emoji faces for commentors???? Get real BPR, or die with Twitter!

  13. So these are just numbers in front of people’s names. Maybe their followers are just one third of what they show on Twitter…and who has the energy and time after all these years to baby sit all those people anyway. Maybe ocasio because she needs votes from her brainwashed teens.

  14. Lordy this is going to be FUN!! How soon does the leFt raise $50 BILLION to buy him out?? I still think he should get the price way up, sell his stake, launch his OWN site, and make twit WORTHLESS!! I do like his ideas so far!! Many will take DELIGHT in his comments in SF since most of his comments have caused massive BUTT tightening!!

  15. the top 10 list shows where Americas priorities have gone. Also, maybe there should be an American twitter and a rest of world twitter.

  16. “Looking forward to working with Parag & Twitter board” Step 1. Fire Parag Step 2. Reinstate Trump. That’s a start.

  17. Frankly my dear “I don’t give a damn” what they do. I’ve never been on twatter and never will be.

  18. I have not logged into Tweeter since Trump was banned and they banned the laptop story of crackhead Bidens laptop. I won’t be back on until Trump is reinstated and free speech is once again allowed on this communist run SM.

  19. Who knows. Originally the stock jumped 35% or better, but after news broke they were not going to allow Trump to return, the bottom fell out again.

  20. Looking over the top 10 accounts I think they are not or should not be missed. The only one on the list that might be paid attention to is Musk himself!!

  21. FINALLY…………SOME SANITY coming to Social Media !! Thank you Elon Musk!!
