After creating the border crisis and letting it fester for months, the Biden administration is now effectively throwing its own Border Patrol agents under the bus for the apparent crime of trying to clean up their mess.
During a briefing Wednesday, White House press secretary Jen Psaki zeroed in specifically on the fake “whip” scandal. The pseudo scandal erupted earlier in the week after photos of U.S. Border Patrol agents using the reins on their horses to round up uncooperative Haitian migrants went viral.
Psaki slammed the Border Patrol agents seen in the photos for their allegedly “brutal and inappropriate” behavior and revealed that they’ve been sidelined pending the completion of an investigation.
“We understand and agree that this has been an incredibly heart-wrenching issue. We’ve watched the photos of Haitians gathering under a bridge, many with families, and the horrific video of the CBP officers on horses using brutal and inappropriate measures against innocent people,” she said.
“[T]here’s an investigation that will be completed by next week … that will determine the next steps on both policy and personnel — all important questions people are asking. And in the interim, those individuals were placed on administrative leave and will not be interacting with any migrants,” she added.
What she said next made it sound as if the administration has already rendered a verdict.
“As it relates to those photos and that horrific video, we’re not going to stand for that kind of inhumane treatment. And obviously, we want this investigation to be completed rapidly,” she said.

According to the White House press secretary, President Joe Biden — the veritable architect of the border crisis — is equally outraged.
“[O]n the subject of the video footage and the photos, the president was horrified by that, just as we all were,” she said later during the presser.
The remarks provoked outrage from conservatives. Though the Border Patrol agents are clearly working under a Democrat administration, it’s been left to conservative Republicans — ironically enough — to stand up for them.
Everybody else — from the mainstream press to Hollywood celebrities and of course elected Democrats — has instead thrown them under the bus just like the very man ultimately in charge of everything government-related, Joe Biden.
The anger from conservatives centered on two primary complaints: One, that the “administration blames everyone but themselves,” and two, that the administration is throwing its Border Patrol agents under the bus for cleaning up its own mess.

The current border crisis is a result of Biden promising on the campaign trail last year to cater to the interests of illegal migrants and then reversing his predecessor’s successful border policies the moment he took office.
The president’s incentivization of illegal migration has spurred the worst border crisis in decades, but instead of working with congressional Republicans to secure the border, Biden has done nothing, not even visit the border for a simple inspection.
The sustained crisis on our southern border is the worst we’ve seen in decades, and it’s a direct result of failed policies from the Biden administration.

The icing on the cake is the contrast between how the administration is dealing with the fake “whip” scandal and how it dealt with the catastrophe in Afghanistan.
Despite the administration’s withdrawal of U.S. troops from Afghanistan having been an utter disaster, not a single head has rolled.
Nor, according to reports, is the administration even considering disciplinary action over the infamous drone strike last month that killed a family of 10, including seven children.
It’s exactly as Fox News host Jeanine Pirro recently predicted.
“These woke fools will not require any heads to roll. No one will be fired. No one will be demoted in a government where the only thing that matters is identity politics. Consequences for incompetence? Unheard of!” she’s angrily said last Saturday.
