Lara Logan: You’re kidding yourself if you think Nicki Minaj’s battle with the left is only about vaccines

Amidst attempts to silence the rapper, Lara Logan appears to be backing Nicki Minaj for merely raising questions about the COVID-19 vaccine, which the journalist implied goes beyond the jab into attempts by Democrats to control the population with their entire far-left public policy agenda.

“These issues were never about left and right; they’re about right and wrong, and good and evil, and there is nothing more threatening to them than saying you’re gonna pray for something. What does that tell you?,” the Fox Nation correspondent wondered.

Logan was apparently alluding to a tweet from Minaj that made national and international headlines in which the entertainer recommended that her nearly 23 million followers “pray” on whether to get the shot and do it voluntarily rather than being bullied into it.

That was the same tweet in which she famously claimed a relative’s friend in Trinidad suffered severe side effects after being vaccinated. In a separate tweet, Minaj recommended getting the vaccine if persons, including herself, need to do so as a term or condition of employment.

Minaj also got into a beef with MSNBC’s Joy Reid over what amounts to freedom of choice, a concept that the left has summarily abandoned during the pandemic.

In an appearance on Tucker Carlson Tonight on the Fox News Channel, Logan insisted that some Americans “have surrendered…because they feel powerless.” The tactics in play are derived from the Marxist playbook, she added.

Carlson, who has repeatedly described himself as pro-vaccine, began the segment by pointing out that historically, Americans had the right to decide what medicines to put in their body and to ask questions about potential side effects of prescribed drugs. “Why are the rest of us relinquishing those rights without a fight?”

“It’s called surrender, Tucker…,” Logan replied, implying that gaslighting is in play.

“If you take over all these institutions, and people have the impression, that you know, nobody agrees, and nobody is willing to stand up, then they submit even further, and the only form of victory that can’t be won, right, that can’t be taken from you, is the one that you give, which is surrender,” she continued.

Logan may have been referring to practically the entire weight of the political/media establishment, plus the public health bureaucracy, seemingly trying to squash any good-faith dissenting opinions which they condemn with the misinformation catch-all.

Ironically, from then-candidate Joe Biden on down, partisan Democrats had expressed vaccine-hesitancy because the vaccine was developed during the Trump administration.

In a hopeful note during the Carlson conversation, however, Logan suggested that the tide may be turning, and that it transcends ideological boundaries.

“If you accept defeat, and you lose the will to fight, then they don’t even have to fight that battle. And that’s where we are now. They’ve made the price of standing up to them so high that nobody is willing to do it, except now people are seeing, wait a minute, it’s too many subjects, whether it’s the southern border, or the vaccine, right, or it’s the way they handled COVID, or four million other things — Afghanistan.

“People on the left and on the right recognize these tactics; they’re not new anymore…and people are saying it’s not gonna work.”

Logan then recalled a conversation with James O’Keefe detailing the thousands of soldiers who have contacted Project Veritas because service members oppose the Pentagon’s vaccine mandate.

Logan also mentioned how grassroots parents from all demographics are mobilizing against critical race theory. “No more; they’ve had enough…this is the moment for people to unite.”

“This isn’t even about vaccines or COVID,” Carlson asserted at the end of the segment, to which Logan agreed.

“It is about your dignity. And if they can force you to violate your own conscience to put something in your body you don’t want, you are done. You have no more dignity. They control you. And that’s why they are so insistent on doing it.”

Advancing the story, Minaj — who had tweeted out a previous Carlson segment about the controversy — claimed she was temporarily placed in Twitter jail (which the social media network denied) and also received an invitation from the White House to discuss vaccine concerns.

In a video posted to Instagram (warning for language), where she talks off-camera, Minaj, among things, wondered why it’s such a big problem for Democrats and others that some people ask questions about vaccine and denied lying about the White House invite.

“Anybody is this country has the right to question anything about their health, because if your health matters that f—-ng much, there would be free f—ng healthcare, bozos,” she declared.

She also implied that most artists have questions about the jab, but they are reluctant to come forward because of the anticipated blowback such as what has already happened to her.
