Disneyland, the older sister to “woke” Disney World, is reportedly opening a new restaurant, the Pym Test Kitchen, that’ll feature, among other things, a $100 sandwich.
Known as the Pym-ini, the $99.99 sandwich “is a panini-style sandwich containing salami, rosemary ham and sun-dried tomato spread on toasted focaccia bread,” according to NBC News’ Today.
The catch is that it’s designed to feed an entire “family” that’s apparently as large as the Brady Bunch family, if not even larger.
An individual-sized version will be available for the still notably exorbitant price of $14.99 and will be served at the new Avengers Campus in Disney’s California Adventure Park.
News of the pricey meals won’t distract from the Disney empire’s latest press as it faces accusations that it’s embraced the “woke” ideology of managerial elites.
The thing about “wokeness” is that it can’t be found nearly as prevalently in Middle America, where working class communities of all races are too busy eking out a living to concern themselves with “privileges” and “gender pronouns.”
It’s a point noted Democrat Party operative James Carville recently made in an interview with Vox.

“You ever get the sense that people in faculty lounges in fancy colleges use a different language than ordinary people? They come up with a word like ‘Latinx’ that no one else uses. Or they use a phrase like ‘communities of color.’ I don’t know anyone who speaks like that. I don’t know anyone who lives in a ‘community of color.’ I know lots of white and black and brown people and they all live in … neighborhoods,” he said.
“[T]his is not how people talk. This is not how voters talk. And doing it anyway is a signal that you’re talking one language and the people you want to vote for you are speaking another language. This stuff is harmless in one sense, but in another sense it’s not,” he added.
The thing about “people in faculty lounges in fancy colleges” is that they make a lot of money, so they can afford sandwiches that cost $14.99 individually or $99.99 for a family. Over in the real world, $99.99 is a water or electricity bill.
Now flashback to April, when Disney announced it intended to make its resorts more “inclusive” by offering its employees “greater flexibility with respect to forms of personal expression surrounding gender-inclusive hairstyles, jewelry, nail styles, and costume choices.”
The announcement provoked accusations that Disney was missing the “point” of why people enjoyed their resorts:
Disney continues to miss the point on why people go to Disney. Disney continues to lose its magic. Disney is about the characters and stories people grew up with and that Disney tells, not about cast members expressing their own personalities. I can go to six flags and get that.

Exactly this. What sets Disney apart is the immersion. Cinderella doesn’t have purple hair and tattoos. This isn’t a further step into turning Disney World into a carnival rather than a premium vacation kingdom. The theming INCLUDES the cast members. They’re clueless.

Walt Disney is rolling over in his grave this was not his vision for his parks he had specific ideas about the guest experience even going to the expense of putting a tunnel system under the Magic Kingdom so not to spoil the magic but that will be gone in order to be WOKE😫😫

Then, earlier this month, Disney was exposed for trying to indoctrinate its employees in critical race theory propaganda.
Shortly after it was exposed, word broke that its revenue had dropped by $600 million from the first quarter of 2021 to the second quarter. It seemed odd given that the second quarter coincided with millions of more Americans being vaccinated and numerous states finally reopening.
“At the end of the first quarter, Disney reported they earned revenue totaling $16.249 billion with $12.661 billion coming from Disney Media and Entertainment Distribution and $3.588 billion from Disney Parks, Experiences and Products. In contrast, their recently released second quarter numbers detail their total revenue for the quarter dropped to $15.613 billion,” Bounding into Comics reported.
Some don’t believe the revenue drop was coincidental. Rather, they think the drop in revenue is a byproduct of the company embracing “woke” ideology:

Fantastic news! Evidently tedious “woke” conformity and corrupting the innocence of the young doesn’t sell as well as these degenerates were hoping https://t.co/1R8JJQwyj8

I don’t think telling employees to decolonize their bookshelves at home went over very well.

We dropped Disney+ because I don’t have time to screen every show my kids want to watch so we can discuss everything that’s wrong with it.

I’m forever done with Disney unless they apologize to Gina Carano and hire her back, renounce their claim that the US is a racist nation and apologize, and denounce China’s genocide and slave labor practices.

Well when average people can’t afford the day pass for their entire family, what the hell did they think was gonna happen?!

Note what the latter user said about affording a day pass. Wait til they try to grab some lunch …
