The media are allowing the anonymous woman who outed anti-Trump actor Alec Baldwin’s Spanish-acting wife as a white woman to remain anonymous because she’s scared to death of him.

But why, pray tell, is she so frightened of him? Because he’s apparently bonkers.

In a profile of Baldwin’s wife, Hilaria, published Wednesday, The New York Times admitted that the anonymous tipster “was granted anonymity … because she said she was scared that Mr. Baldwin, who agreed to take an anger management course in 2019 in order to dispose of charges after a fight with a man over a parking spot and has been arrested, escorted from a plane and suspended from a job as an MSNBC host, all in the last decade, would punch her.”

That’s a lot to take in …

Of course, it comes as no surprise given what’s known about Baldwin’s temper.

For instance, he did indeed take an anger management course in 2019.

“Alec Baldwin pleaded guilty Wednesday to a charge stemming from an alleged altercation over a New York City parking spot. The SNL and Mission: Impossible – Fallout actor admitted to a second-degree violation of harassment,” Entertainment Weekly reported at the time.

“Other, more serious charges related to the dispute — such as attempted assault — were dropped. He agreed to take part in a short-term anger management program and pay $120.”

How short-term? Try one day …

The one-day anger management course was the culmination of what has been a lifetime of rants, raves, tantrums, harassment campaigns and assaults.

Even his own daughter hasn’t been spared his vitriol.

During a custody battle in 2017 with his ex-wife, Kim Basinger, the actor left a voicemail for his then-11-year-old daughter, Ireland, in which he called her a “rude, thoughtless little pig.”

“An enraged Alec Baldwin unleashed a volcanic tirade of threats and insults on his 11-year-old daughter, Ireland, calling her a ‘thoughtless little pig,’ and bashing her mother Kim Basinger,” TMZ reported at the time.

The “volcanic tirade” reportedly occurred after Ireland, who – as a reminder – was 11, failed to answer a call from him one morning.

“Alec went berserk on her voice mail, saying ‘Once again, I have made an ass of myself trying to get to a phone,’ adding, ‘you have insulted me for the last time,’” TMZ reported.

“Switching his train of thought, Baldwin then exercised his incredible parenting skills and took a shot at his ex-wife, declaring, ‘I don’t give a damn that you’re 12-years-old or 11-years-old, or a child, or that your mother is a thoughtless pain in the ass who doesn’t care about what you do.’ The irate Baldwin went on to say, ‘You’ve made me feel like s**t’ and threatened to ‘straighten your ass out.’”

“This crap you pull on me with this goddamn phone situation that you would never dream of doing to your mother, and you do it to me constantly over and over again,” he reportedly continued yelling.

Real nice guy …

His temper has come to the spotlight again thanks to an anonymous woman who alleged that his wife, Hilaria, has been pretending to be Spanish all her life.

The allegations soon spread, triggering Baldwin’s rage once again in the process.

The problem is that the allegations were technically 100 percent accurate.

“Yes, I am a white girl,” Hilaria admitted in an Instagram post this past Sunday.

However, she defended her past behavior by saying that she grew up spending time with family in Spain and thus was immersed in Spanish culture.

“Culturally, I grew up with two cultures, so it’s really as simple as that,” she said.

But that apparently didn’t do enough to calm the growing anger against her, so The New York Times predictably swooped in to save her with a puff piece.

“The things I have shared about myself are very clear. I was born in Boston. I spent time in Boston and in Spain. My family now lives in Spain. I moved to New York when I was 19 years old and I have lived here ever since. For me, I feel like I have spent 10 years sharing that story over and over again. And now it seems like it’s not enough,” she reiterated to the paper without receiving any pushback.

Keep in mind the Times recently helped a vindictive racial grievance monger effectively ruin the life of an 18-year-old girl over a racial slur she’d uttered when she was just 15.

But Hilaria, who’s as liberal as her husband … well, she’s special, didn’t you know?
