U.S. Rep. Matt Gaetz (R- Fla.) has publicly announced that he will formally challenge the results of Election 2020 which culminated in the Electoral College handing the presidency to Democrat Joe Biden.

“On January 6, I’m joining with the fighters in the Congress, and we are going to object to electors from states that didn’t run clean elections,” Gaetz declared in a rousing speech to an enthusiastic, USA-chanting crowd at Turning Point USA’s Student Action Summit in West Palm Beach, Fla.

Gaetz, who represents the 1st congressional district in the Pensacola area, also seemed to confirm that U.S. Senator-elect and ex-NCAA football coach Tommy Tuberville, who previously hinted that he might support the challenge, is apparently on the team.

“He still talks like a coach, and I had a chance to speak with Coach Tuberville just moments ago, and he says we are done running plays from the establishment’s losing playbook; it is time to stand and fight. Coach Tuberville went forward a lot on fourth down, when he was coaching at Auburn. They called him the Mississippi Riverboat Gambler.

“Well the odds may be tough, it may be fourth and long, but we’re going for it on January 6th,” Gaetz declared.

Congressman Gaetz is one of the new generation of aggressive GOP lawmakers who have learned from a sometimes too-abrasive but America First President Donald Trump — a former Democrat and independent — how to effectively fight back rhetorically against the Democrats and their massive corporate media megaphone.

Gaetz insisted President Trump won in a landslide “among those who actually showed up and voted,” while decrying the mail-votes that various precincts accepted without signature verification/validation and otherwise miraculously showed up in the middle of the night for Biden. This occurred often without observers being present in the room.

“In 2016, they couldn’t beat Trump with actual voters at the ballot box, so they tried with impeachment at the witness box, and when that failed, they ran to the mailbox.”

Gatez remarks about the election start at about the 2:50 mark of the 15-minute address in the video embedded below:

Describing himself as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s worst nightmare, self-described “Florida Man” Gaetz ripped the defeatist establishment wing of the GOP.

“I don’t know about you, but I’m not going back to yesterday’s Republican Party. I’m not going back to losing politely with Mitt Romney. I’m not going back to the Bushes or the Cheneys. This is Donald Trump’s party, and I am a Donald Trump Republican. If you want to get the job done, if you want to drain the swamp, hire a Florida man. We drain swamps in the state of Florida, and we know how to get the job done.”

U.S. Rep. Gaetz also pushed back forcefully on the inevitable media narrative, which is a form of projection by so-called journalists, that an Election College challenge undermines rather than bolsters democracy.

“That’s nonsense. Democracy is left undefended if we accept the result of a stolen election without fighting with every bit of vigor we can muster. We deserve leaders bold enough to take action, and a media honest enough to report the facts objectively, but instead, we get the perverse opposite…

“Our politicians are too often weak husks of humans…meanwhile the media and their woketopian allies in Silicon Valley only grow stronger in their ability to super-spread lies and bulls**t.”

Gaetz also quipped that the POTUS should pick him for attorney general in the next Trump administration, whether that occurs in 2021 or 2025. ” “I would go easy on marijuana, tough on Big Tech, and I would go after the Deep State,” he declared.

U.S. Rep. Mo Brooks (R-Ala.) has already vowed to reject the Electoral College vote. U.S. Sens. Rand Paul and Josh Hawley have made some noises about a possible challenge over a stolen election, but it remains to be seen how all this will play out.

Ironically perhaps, at least as things stand now, Tuberville faced criticism during the primary campaign against former Sen. and Attorney General Jeff Sessions, that he was a RINO.
