Adorned in what appeared to be the skin of a deceased blue whale, failed 2016 Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton spoke out in praise last week of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s glaringly partisan impeachment proceedings.
But it seemed that Twitter was less concerned with what was coming out of Clinton’s mouth as they were with what was on her back. Criticism of her outfit swept the social media platform, and nobody held back:

She made the remarks while speaking alongside her daughter, Chelsea, at New York’s Pace University on Thursday in promotion of their new book, “The Book of Gutsy Women.”

“I have to say that I thought Nancy Pelosi did a really extraordinary job this morning introducing what is a somber, deliberate debate about whether or not the impeachment clause in our Constitution should be applied to the current president,” she said.
Right from the get-go, the remarks contained lies. Neither the impeachment debates nor the final impeachment vote was “somber.”
The debates were near-maniacal, with House Democrats trotting out fake photos, comparing the impeachment of President Donald Trump to the “Battle of the Bulge” against Nazi Germany, and even comparing it to ending slavery.
The vote was likewise near-ecstatic, or at least for House Democrats, who were overflowing with so much joy they had to be shushed by the House speaker.
“I am one of those who watched this with deep concern because of the national security implications of what the articles address — namely the president’s behavior with respect to Ukraine,” Clinton continued in her remarks Thursday.
That’s an ironic concern for her of all people to hold considering that her unscrupulous actions as the former secretary of state under then-President Barack Hussein Obama put America’s national security and its service members and diplomats abroad at grave risk.
“And the facts are not in dispute,” she continued. “This is not a ‘he said, she said’. This is a, ‘here’s what happened’ … [Trump’s] chief of staff, people who’ve worked for him, experienced non-partisan diplomats, military officers, everyone has told the same story.”
Congratulations to Miss Clinton for stating something true for a change.
Every witness whom Democrats subpoenaed to testify before Congress admitted to having no concrete evidence that the president had attempted to use a quid pro quo offer to bribe Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky into doing his bidding. One witness even admitted that the very notion of a quid pro quo was just a “presumption.”

As such, the purported “evidence” of corruption is “woefully inadequate,” as put by civil libertarian, legal scholar, attorney, and George Washington University Law School professor Jonathan Turley. And this itself is indisputable.
Except that Clinton disagrees …
“And it is a story of abuse of power, using the office of the presidency to further not the nation’s objectives, but his own personal political objectives. And that is exactly the kind of action that our founders warned us about,” she said.
What she stated is an unproven narrative.
Echoing the apocalyptic, fear-mongering rhetoric of House Democrats, Clinton then spoke about how America is “in a struggle for the soul of our democracy.”
“And it’s not only our democracy, but it is democracies in the rest of the world as well,” she said. “We’re in this struggle, and if you want to be sort of picturesque about it, it’s a struggle between light and darkness — and people who really do want to crush your spirit, who want to belittle, demean and discard you unless you believe and fall in line with what they are trying to make you think and do, and they’re trying to recast reality in the face of facts and evidence and truth.”

While she was attempting to describe conservatives — be they the liberty-championing conservatives in the states or the Brexit-supporting conservatives in the U.K. — she wound up providing a picture-perfect description of the modern Democrat party.
It’s the Democrat Party and its far-left liberal base that supports canceling people for believing differently, using threats to force dissidents into compliance, censoring those with opposing viewpoints, ostracizing those who refuse to toe the line, etc.
It’s also the Democrat Party which has stood in silence as its base has harassed and assaulted the president’s supporters time and time and time again:
