Trump delivers Dems a swift counter-punch after DNC bans Fox News from debates

President Trump fired back at the Democrat National Committee after the DNC banned Fox News from hosting Democrat primary debates.

The DNC claims Fox News is biased because some of its hosts (like Sean Hannity) are friends with POTUS. However, Hannity — who is an opinion host — would never moderate any of the presidential debates for Fox.

Chris Wallace — a registered Democrat — would most likely be Fox News’ choice to moderate any debate. In 2016, Wallace moderated a debate between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton.

Unlike CNN, Fox News clearly delineates to its audience which of its stars are straight-news journalists (like Bret Baier) and which are opinion anchors (like Hannity and Tucker Carlson).

Trump Claps Back at DNC Censorship

President Trump suggested that if the DNC is playing this game, he might ban “Fake News Networks” (like CNN and MSNBC) from the general election debates.

“Democrats just blocked Fox News from holding a debate. Good, then I think I’ll do the same thing with the Fake News Networks and the Radical-Left Democrats in the General Election debates!”

Critics say the DNC issued the ban because it doesn’t want Fox News moderators to ask tough questions about the rampant anti-Semitism and “blackface” racism scandals roiling the Democrat Party.

Flashback: DNC Chair Gave Hillary Debate Questions

Keep in mind that in 2016, CNN contributor Donna Brazile was caught leaking debate questions to Hillary in advance in order to help her win the party’s nomination.

Brazile — a longtime pal of Hillary Clinton — was the former interim chair of the DNC and a CNN contributor.

Brazile reportedly got her hands on the debate questions through her work ties at CNN and gave them to Hillary before CNN hosted its primary debate between Hillary and Bernie Sanders.

Fox News responded by issuing a statement urging the DNC to reconsider its censorship.

Baier: Too Bad, Since FNC Has Massive Audience

Fox News anchor Bret Baier called the DNC’s censorship “a shame.” He also pointed out that Fox News has an enormous audience.

Fox News typically trounces both CNN and MSNBC in ratings every hour of every day. With a few exceptions (like when Tucker Carlson or Sean Hannity have guest hosts) it has been this way for the past 20 straight years.

Baier tweeted: “That’s really a shame. When it comes to fairness – our news product speaks for itself. We will continue to cover this 2020 race fairly and will continue to invite Democrats- Republicans and Independents on to talk about key issues and substance with our very large viewing audience.”

Fox News contributor Lisa Boothe underscored that unlike their cable news rivals, FNC does not hide the partisan viewpoints of its opinion hosts by masquerading them as straight-news journalists.

Boothe noted: “I really wish the other networks would be as honest as Fox News about delineating between news and opinion. CNN pretends that Don Lemon and Chris Cuomo are journalists, but they are really opinion hosts. Rachel Maddow and the entire MSNBC prime-time lineup are all opinion hosts.”

CBS Reporter: Media Are Leftist Propagandists

As BizPac Review reported, former CBS News reporter Lara Logan slammed the mainstream press, saying they no longer hide their partisan political agenda.

Logan pointed out that both the U.S. and global media are overwhelmingly left-wing. “In this country, 85% of journalists are registered Democrats,” Logan noted.

Accordingly, Logan says today’s mainstream media are leftist “propagandists and political activists” masquerading as objective journalists.

A former New York Times editor agrees.
