Young, single California woman’s Christmas card is a riot and social media loves her

A young woman from California found a way to nip the traditional holiday questions about relationship status in the bud with a unique Christmas card.

Emily Seawright, 20, used her family’s Christmas card to send her message and she shared it on Twitter to rave reviews.

The card features her parents posing with a sign that read “Excited,” and her sisters and their men with signs that read “Engaged” and “Expecting.”

But Emily’s card simply read “Emily.”

By Sunday it had more than 50,000 retweets, 341,000 likes and a lot of love.

Some imitated the card.

Others offered to change her relationship situation.

For others she was a hero.

And some saw themselves in Emily.
