Miami cop cold-cocks drunk female football fan in the face, but before you judge him, watch the video

Miami police are investigating a video of an officer punching a woman in the face as she was being carried out of  Hard Rock stadium on Saturday.

The woman, identified as 30-year-old Bridget Freitas, was being removed from the University of Miami football game when she took two swings at one of the officers carrying her.

After she connected with a slap to his face the officer swung around and punched her in the face and appeared to knock her out.

Eric Argueta, who took video of the incident on his iPhone X, told ABC 10 that Freitas was “swinging at another lady” before police carried her out.

“She looked like she had no control of herself and she was refusing to leave the stadium. This is why it took four police officers to get her out,” he said.

Miami-Dade police said, in a statement on Twitter, that they are investigating the incident.

“Promoting a safe and secure environment during any special event is our primary concern,” it read.

“After responding to a disturbance, the person in the video was being removed form the event by our officers for being disorderly. She was subsequently arrested for Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer and Disorderly Conduct/Breach of the peace.

“Supervisory personnel are aware of the video and are reviewing the incident to ensure compliance with our policies and procedures.”

Freitas was arrested previously in 2012 for battery.
