Kellyanne Conway savaged the limousine liberals of Hollywood and their Emmy Awards.

During an appearance on “Fox & Friends” on Monday, the counselor to the president noted what a waste it was for the celebrities to prepare themselves for months only to deliver the same tired schtick.

“They got plucked and polished and waxed and some of them didn’t eat for two months, and all for what? To sound the same?” she said. “Between the Emmys, the Miss America Pageant was very politicized, our sports are very politicized — and it looks like the ratings are suffering. It looks like America is responding by tuning out because they want you to stick to your knitting, they wants you to, I guess in this case, read the stuff other people write for you, and so they’re welcome to their opinion, but how does it really fit?”

And she was spot on.

The early ratings are in and they show that the Emmys got smashed, hitting a record low, despite Colbert trotting out former White House press secretary Sean Spicer to say they would be the “most watched.”

The Stephen Colbert-hosted, President Donald Trump-bashing soiree scored an abysmal 8.2 in metered market ratings, a fall of two percent from last year’s show, according to Deadline.

A dip of two percent might not seem like that much until you consider that the show’s rating have steadily declined for three years.

And while some may make the excuse that the show was paired against “Sunday Night Football” on NBC, that defense doesn’t work either.

For starters, the audience for the Emmy Awards and football are not exactly the same.

Sunday Night Football also had a ratings plummet, likely due to a similar distaste for politicizing entertainment.

Football grabbed a 12.6/21 in metered markets, which was better than the Emmys, but a fall of eight percent from a Sept. 18 game last year.

It seems that many of the 63 million Americans who voted for President Trump took Colbert’s advice prior to the show, when he let them know they should not tune in.
