An unholy confrontation on the Florida Turnpike led to the arrest of a North Carolina priest last week.
William Rian Adams, 35, allegedly pointed a Glock 22 at two people, a 24-year-old man and a 54-year-old woman, after an incident on Wednesday, the Palm Beach Post reported.
According to a police report, the priest, Adams, was driving his red Corvette when he hit his brakes to get the Chevrolet Silverado pickup the two alleged victims to stop tailgating.
The driver of the Silverado attempted to go around the priest’s Corvette and that’s when, according to the alleged victim’s testimony, Adams waved a gun at them.

Adams told investigators another side of the story, after they stopped him in St. Lucie County, according to the Post.
The priest alleged that the people in the Silverado pulled alongside him and screamed at him as they flung a drink at his car. Adams said that he had a gun in his vehicle but that he didn’t take it out and kept it under the passenger seat.
