Legit? Man suffers public humiliation in elaborate baseball stadium proposal disaster

Before staging an elaborate public proposal it’s a good idea to discuss the topic of marriage with your significant other and establish a reasonable idea that the answer is going to be “yes.”

That’s a lesson one baseball fan reportedly learned last week when he enlisted the help of others in proposing to his girlfriend at the South Carolina ballpark of the Columbia Fireflies.

Four men, who are probably friends of the man proposing, did a dance routine on the field to Bruno Mars’ “Marry You” and held three signs that could not be read on screen but were presumably a message to the woman.

The boyfriend then got on one knee and proposed to his girlfriend in front of everyone.

The woman shakes her head “no” but the man proceeds undaunted.

Eventually, she whispers something in his ear, grabs her purse and walks off.

The entire moment was caught on video.

According to Tavi Newton, who took the video, the woman was upgraded to better seats by the stadium.

Some fans pitied the man, but others believed the incident was a hoax.

So this just happened!! Watch to the end
