A Florida sheriff gave a blunt warning to heroin dealers in his county.
Lake County Sheriff Peyton Grinnell released an 84-second video telling the drug dealers, point-blank, that his officers will blow “your front door off the hinges” after they obtain arrest warrants.
In the ominous video Sheriff Grinnell had two masked SWAT officers on either side of him as he delivered his stern warning.
He said he received phone calls from citizens concerned about overdoses and called on residents to anonymously call and tell the police if they knew of locations where heroin was being sold.
“To the dealers that are pushing this poison I have a message for you,” he said. “We’re coming for you. As a matter of fact our undercover agents have already bought heroin from many of you. We are simply awaiting the arrest warrants to be finalized.”
“So to the dealers, I say, enjoy looking over your shoulder, constantly wondering if today is the day we come for you,” he continued. “Enjoy trying to sleep tonight, wondering if tonight’s the night our SWAT team blows your front door off the hinges.”
And he said if they can prove that the drugs they sold caused someone’s overdose death they will charge the pushers with murder.
“We are coming for you,” he warned to end the video. “Run.”
