‘Stunning and brave’: AP mercilessly mocked for dramatic boast of its Taylor Swift wedding coverage

The Associated Press is braving the elements to bring its unfortunate followers minute-by-minute coverage of the public celebration of the wedding between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.

The couple has already tied the knot, according to Page Six, but are holding a bash at Madison Square Garden — ONE DAY before America celebrates its 250th Anniversary — to ensure maximum publicity. The AP is more than willing to do its part to report on the “action” while uplifting the left-wing pop diva and her now-husband.

“Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding is slated to begin at 5 p.m. Friday at New York’s Madison Square Garden and could last until 4 a.m. the next morning. While liberals are all about a billionaire tax, few will dare criticize resident club member Taylor Swift, who just a few short years ago faced cancellation by the same mob that adores her today.

In 2016, Swift faced massive public criticism over her feud with Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, resulting in the pop star retreating from the public eye for a year or so. She won back the adulation of critics when she entered the political arena in 2018 by endorsing two Democrats running for Congress in Tennessee. She solidified her place on the left when she heartily endorsed the Marxist-inspired Black Lives Matter movement in 2020 after George Floyd died from a fentanyl overdose.

Thus, the media adulation.
