Diva newscaster FREAKS OUT when guest appears in same colored shirt! Luckily, it was all caught on video

Newscasters and media personalities usually appear with bright, smiling faces when the cameras turn on, but one news presenter in Australia felt the world was coming to an end when a guest and another reporter were both seen on camera wearing the same color dress.

And to the amusment of millions, the recorded meltdown was epic.

During the preparations for a broadcast of “Nine News Hour,” Sydney-based host Amber Sherlock put a halt to the show to scold reporter Julie Snook for wearing a white dress because, as it happens, Amber was also wearing white.

After the show came to a screeching halt, Sherlock continued to scold Snook for not changing clothes, after she had been warned, and began demanding that someone in the studio give her a jacket.

Meanwhile, Sherlock’s guest, psychologist Sandy Rea — who was also wearing white — was seen laughing and cringing throughout the uncomfortable segment.

As Sherlock berated reporter Snook for wearing white, Snook defended herself saying she was “flat-out” and had no time to make the previously demanded wardrobe change before the cameras were switched on.

But Sherlock would have none of it and continued to demand that a crew member give Snook a jacket to wear. Eventually, Snook was handed a black suit coat to satisfy Sherlock’s diva demands.

Apparently, what upset Sherlock the most was that she had asked Snook to make some sort of wardrobe change over two hours before the segment started.

“Come on, wearing a jacket. I asked you two-and-a-half hours ago. It’s not the hardest request,” Sherlock said pointedly on the video.

It isn’t known who leaked the video of the uncomfortable incident, and after it went viral Sherlock noted that she just might have overreacted.

In a statement published by The Daily Mail, Sherlock apologized and explained.

‘Live TV can be a pretty stressful beast, at times. And as anyone knows, it’s never much fun rocking up to work or to a party in the same outfit as one of your colleagues or friends,’ she said.

‘I probably overreacted with the pressure of presenting a live news bulletin.

‘Thank goodness we had psychologist Sandy Rae around afterwards!!’

Ms Snook added: ‘What can I say? Amber and I just really love white!

‘Amber and I are good friends and I really enjoy working with her.

‘News is a fast moving environment and sometimes these things happen.’
