MSNBC host Joy Ann Reid admitted yesterday that President Obama’s decision to end the “wet foot, dry foot” policy towards Cubans was purely partisan.
The liberal host tweeted that she thought the decision by the president to stop the decades old policy was a calculated shot at Republicans and calls Cubans the only Hispanic Republicans.
Ending “wet foot, dry foot” is a huge shot across the GOP bow, making Cuban-Americans, the lone GOP Hispanics, subject to Trump deportation.

As if Cuban Americans are the only Hispanics that vote Republican.
Many on social media were not as happy as Reid was over the plight of Cubans desperate to flee communism.
@JoyAnnReid this seems pretty immoral , to punish people and risk their lives for politics

@JoyAnnReid The fact that ur proud of this says a lot abt u. Ask yourself WHY Cubans gravitate AWAY from DICtators like Obama.

@JoyAnnReid I see. Cubans are no longer allowed to escape an oppressive dictator because you want to stick a thumb in the GOP’s eye.

And Joy, Cubans are not the only Hispanic Republicans.

@JoyAnnReid I’m glad you’re so comfortable making blanket generalizations about the U.S. Hispanic population.
