Bad news for Marilyn Mosby; judge rules cops’ case for malicious prosecution can move forward

A judge has ruled that the case for malicious prosecution against Baltimore State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby can continue. You’ll remember Mosby as the politicized SA who tried to prosecute six Baltimore police officers involved in the case of suspect Freddie Gray whose death in police custody sparked months of destructive rioting in Baltimore last year.

Late last week, a federal judge cleared the way for the case against Mosby, filed by the six officers who she tried to throw in jail. All of the officers were acquitted of the charges thrown at them and claim Mosby prosecuted them for political, not legal reasons.

Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke celebrated the ruling allowing the officers to take Mosby to court for politicizing her office.

As Twitchy noted, Sheriff Clarke’s followers were equally relieved that this partisan and anti-cop State’s Attorney will now possibly face the consequences of her highly political actions.
