Anti-Trump CNN guest Ana Navarro made a long list of fraudulent claims against President Elect Donald Trump claiming he is a racist, that he ran his campaign as a racist, and that he has “released the Kraken” of racism on the nation. Because of this, she said, he needs to take responsibility for it.
During a November 22 discussion panel on the third place cable news network, Navarro viciously attacked Trump as practicing “identity politics,” ignoring the fact that the Democrat Party has perpetrated identity politics for at least 50 years and that Hillary Clinton’s entire campaign strategy was to pander to various ethnic and self-identified blocks of voters to the complete exclusion of white voters.

Navarro insisted that Trump “spent the last 18 months using identity politics as a wedge issue.” She then went on to make fraudulent claims about what Trump did during the campaign saying, “Do you think when he calls Mexicans rapists and criminals that’s not identity politics? Do you think when he goes after Muslims and says we’re going to put them in a registry that’s not identity politics? I don’t know what the hell you call it but in my book that’s identity politics.”
Of course, Trump has specifically noted that he does not intend to create any “registry” of Muslims and he never once said all Mexicans are rapists and criminals.
Navarro went on to insist that Trump needs to come out and “take responsibility” for racism in America. “He has unleashed the Kraken… it is not a coincidence that after he got elected hate crimes spiked up,” she claimed.
But, once again, that claim is not true. There has been no appreciable “spike” in so-called hate crimes in America since Trump was elected.
Several of the other guests noted, quite despite Navarro’s intemperate yelling over them, that Trump has come out several times already and denounced racism and said he’ll be a president for all Americans.
Navarro, though, has been sowing division and making wild, spittle-specked claims for some time. Only a day ago she made the absurd claim that Trump will deport her for standing against him.
Naturally, on CNN’s Twitter feed, Navarro was slammed as a liar and divider by many.
