Experts worry that unprepared Mexico will suffer too much if immigrants are sent back and border is sealed

As America prepares for life with President Elect Donald J. Trump, Mexico is also preparing for big changes.

But in Mexico’s case, it is preparing to deal with a possible influx of perhaps millions of criminal aliens returning to their native home. And many “experts” are saying Mexico isn’t at all prepared to deal with this eventuality.

It isn’t just those returning home that the experts are worried about.

For the last eight years at least, Mexico has become a major “pass through” territory for a large range of illegals entering her borders. Millions from countries in Central and Southern America have trudged through Mexico, as have Haitians and even African migrants. They have all entered in order to march northward passing through Mexico to illegally enter the U.S. through the porous border.

Mexican activists and officials are worried that if Americans are finally able to control the border, and choke off the many access points illegals use to break immigration laws, that millions who are illegal to Mexico will end up staying instead of passing through into the U.S.

And the numbers of illegals entering Mexico has become a flood. For instance, Mexican officials have reported that more African migrants have illegally entered Mexico this year than in the past four years combined, the Daily Caller reports.

Naturally, Mexican activists blame the U.S.A. for all of this.

As Rev. Alejandro Solalinde told the Mexican news paper El Universal, “Mexico is going to become a destination country, and highly cosmopolitan; in the United States now you won’t be able to live, not because of lack of work, if not because of racism, intolerance, and violence that will occur.”

Of course, no such “violence” is likely to occur in the U.S. even if Trump does begin mass deportations.

Still, Leticia Gutierrez, from the Mission for Migrants and Refugees in Mexico, agreed with Rev. Solalinde. The flood of illegals in Mexico will not likely stop any time soon and if the U.S. does plug its porous borders, Mexico may be stuck with millions of migrants and its social systems and government are unprepared to deal with it all.

And with Trump ready to take from Obama a massive list of illegals, Mexican activists fear that a Donald Trump presidency will end up causing for them what a Barack Obama presidency caused the U.S., namely create a wave of unwanted immigrants who will become a massive drain on their social and economic resources.
