This is what Donald Trump means when he says he believes the deck is stacked against him.
As the clock ticks towards the town hall style debate between the Republican presidential nominee and his Democrat rival Hillary Clinton, accusations are circulating that left-wing groups are attempting to stack the audience against Trump, the Daily Caller reported.
The way the event works, is moderators select audience members to ask pre-screened questions of the candidates.
The questions are screened in advance so that the most pertinent questions are asked, and so they aren’t redundant.
Part of that process has gone through a website where users can vote on the questions they most want asked, which ABC and CNN agreed to consider when selecting audience questions.
Liberal groups have been mobilizing an effort to get the questions they think will hurt Trump voted to the top.
Among them is purported to be from a 6-year-old girl named Sophie Cruz whose parents are illegal immigrants.
“If you deport my parents, what happens to me? I am 6 years old and an American citizen. I have a 3-year-old sister who is also an American. My heart is very sad, because I’m scared that ICE is going to deport my undocumented mommy and daddy,” she asked.
Good question, and one her parents should have considered before they decided to break the law. But be that as it may, the question is currently ranked 20th and therefore guaranteed to be considered.
The effort to push the question, and try to shame Trump is being spearheaded by the group known as “Define America,” which is led by illegal alien Jose Antonio Vargas.
It’s not the first time Vargas used Cruz as a prop to promote his pro illegal immigration agenda either.
Last September Sophie managed to get around security and gave a letter to the pope during his visit to the U.S. that said she was afraid her parents were going to be deported.
The press instantly fell in love with the girl and pro-amnesty groups, including Vargas’, quickly jumped at the chance to get Cruz to be their poster child.
She appeared in a pro-amnesty video for Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, backed FWD.us. and in April she made her way to the Supreme Court for a protest as it considered President Obama’s executive action to hold off deportation for more than 4 million illegals.
And look at who she was sitting next to.

Not surprisingly the effort has been joined by several on the left.
Please do me a favor and vote for this question. I’d like to see it asked to the candidates. Sincere question from a wonderful little girl. https://t.co/gaSTR53VXm
