Vindicated! Presidential Debate Commission confirms Donald Trump’s mic had audio issues

Following the first presidential debate Donald Trump was mocked for alleging his microphone was defective.

Not trusting the media, Trump had repeatedly asked in interviews as he stuck to his story, “Was it on purpose?”

While there is no proof the tech glitch was deliberate, on Friday, the Commission on Presidential Debates issued a statement confirming Trump’s suspicions.

“Regarding the first debate, there were issues regarding Donald Trump’s audio that affected the sound level in the debate hall,” it said in a statement.

The audio issue supposedly did not effect how the television audience heard Trump but, CNN’s Brian Stelter said, it could have taken the Republican presidential nominee “off his game.”
