‘Progressive’ Air Force vet breaks down ridiculous answer Hillary gave at military forum and… ouch!

An Air Force veteran who was allowed to ask Hillary Clinton a question at the NBC Commander-in-Chief forum is speaking out about the answer the nominee gave.

To say the answer was a disappointment is putting it lightly.

Pam Campos, who called herself a Democrat who is undecided if she will vote for Clinton, apparently didn’t get her decision helped along by what she claimed was the “canned answer” the Democrat candidate gave about her past propensity toward advocating military actions.

“How do you respond to progressives like myself who worry and have concerns that your hawkish foreign policy will continue?” Campos asked at the presidential military forum on Wednesday. “And what is your plan to end wasteful war campaigns in which our peers, servicewomen and men, continue to be killed and wounded?

Clinton’s answer did little if anything to appease Campos:

Well, I assume you’re talking about Iraq, because of my vote, and you probably are talking about Libya, because of the role that I played in the administration’s decision about whether to take on Gadhafi… Let me say very clearly: I view force as a last resort, not a first choice. I will do everything in my power to make sure that our men and women in the military are fully prepared for any challenge that they may have to face on our behalf. But I will also be as careful as I can in making the most significant decisions any president and commander-in-chief can make about sending our men and women into harm’s way.

Not all satisified the progressive Air Force vet sat down with MSNBC after the forum to say Hillary’s answer “fell short.”

“It was disappointing. It felt canned and frankly, she said several things that already exist,” she added.

She also said she wanted “more candor” from Hillary.

“She referenced Iraq,” Campos complained, “she assumed that I was talking about Iraq and Libya. An example I think about often that she has not really addressed is the 2008 coup in Honduras, which we’re now seeing refugees, a crisis.”

But Campos’ disappointment wasn’t the only spot of trouble for the Democrat nominee and the military forum did not seem to work out well for Clinton.

Another veteran in the audience absolutely destroyed Hillary over her illegal email server and her crimes of breaking our nation’s national security laws. When a U.S. Navy flight officer stood to ask his question, he also noted that if he had done what Hilary did with her illegal use of an unsecure email system hidden in her New York home he’d have been arrested and thrown in jail.

Additionally, immediately after the event aired, several snap polls found that people thought Donald Trump came out as the better candidate, too. In fact, NBC’s own Internet poll found Trump edged Clinton 59 to 41 percent.

Then things got even murkier for the Democrat nominee. The day after the event someone noticed a fishy looking device in Hillary’s ear onstage and many began to assume she had a speaker in her ear over which her staffers were feeding her lines to regurgitate. Many said it looked like Hillary was caught cheating.

Even Hillary herself seems to have understood she had to undermine the confidence people had in the program because the next day she began sending desperate fundraising emails insisting that her close personal friend and Clinton donor Matt Lauer treated her badly with his questioning.

In all, it seems this commander-in-chief forum did Hillary no good.
