Black Lives Matter? Dave Chappelle calls it the ‘worst slogan I’ve ever heard’

Apparently comedian Dave Chappelle has strayed from the liberal plantation by criticizing Black Lives Matter.

Chappelle, an equal opportunity offender, often opens his show saying something to the effect of “This will be a racist show. I’m telling you now.” But he has also broken liberal orthodoxy by slamming the Black Lives Matter movement for having the worst name he’s ever heard.

Recently Roger Friedman attended one of Chapelle’s shows and when the topic of Black Lives Matter came up he disparaged its name for its obviously racist connotation.

“Black lives matter is a terrible slogan,” Chapelle said, adding he much prefers Dwayne Wade’s hashtag “enough is enough.”

During the show Chappelle  talked of the murder of NBA star Dwyane Wade’s cousin who was shot down pushing her baby stroller down the street in Chicago.

But he also noted he isn’t hateful of those on the right side of the political aisle. After all, he told the crowd, he and his wife are still good friends with politically conservative actress and Fox News commentator Stacey Dash.

While he joked that Donald Trump’s tweets about the murder wouldn’t make him vote for Trump, he did find the murder a shocking and atrocious incident that shows how bad Chicago is.

Chappelle also wondered why America seems to have lost empathy for each other.

“When did it become just caring about ourselves and not caring about other people?” he asked the mixed race crowd.
