Donald Trump responds to new Huma Abedin scandal that the press wants to bury

Donald Trump responded to the controversy surrounding top Clinton aide Huma Abedin’s work for a radical Muslim journal on Fox News Network in classic Trump fashion.

First, he nailed her “pervert, sleaze” husband, disgraced former New York Sen. Anthony Weiner, who was famously outed for sending pictures of his, um, namesake to women over social media.

“What about the fact that Huma Abedin, who knows every single thing about Hillary Clinton, she knows more about Hillary than Hillary knows, and she’s married to a pervert, sleaze named Anthony Weiner who will send anything that he has over Twitter,” he said. “She knows everything that Hillary Clinton is doing and she’s married to a guy that has no control over himself.”

Trump called the news that Abedin worked for the anti-American, anti-gay and women’s rights publication, where her mother still serves as editor-in-chief, “terrible,” and agreed that the media would be treating it with a lot more scrutiny if the story involved someone with the last name of Trump.

“If this were Trump it would have been so big,” he said. “You would call up and say ‘I’m so sorry for you. Isn’t that sad?'”
