So, did Comey confirm Hillary committed perjury in the Benghazi Congressional hearing?

Now that FBI Director James Comey has come out and confirmed that Hillary Clinton lied when she said she never sent or received any classified material on her illicit private email server, it seems obvious that Clinton committed perjury during her testimony before the House Select Committee on Benghazi when she said she never sent any information “marked classified.”

This week, FBI chief Comey confirmed that Clinton had well over a thousand emails containing top-secret information sent and received over her easily hack-able, private email system that she had set up in her own home in New York. And while Comey declined to indict Hillary over her breach of national security, he confirmed that she did, indeed, put the nation at risk and that her email server was a major mistake–or as Comey termed it “extremely careless.”

But The Daily Caller reminded readers, a review of her testimony back in October shows Hillary swearing that she never sent any classified information over her email server, something that Comey now confirms is a lie.

During the October questioning by Rep. Jim Jordan, Clinton insisted that “nothing was marked classified at the time I sent or received it.”

Again, we now have the FBI’s word that this is a lie.

Daily Caller contacted Jordan for a comment on this situation and the lawmaker pointed out the clear double standard at play.

“Once again the politically connected get to play by a different set of rules than everyday Americans,” Jordan said. “Despite her statements to the contrary, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton sent and received Top Secret classified information through her unclassified email server, and yet the FBI sees no case. This is a travesty, and just another reason why Americans feel like the game is rigged against them.”

Despite her obvious perjury, though, it seems clear that she will never be called to account for her lies.
