According to CNN, sources close to the FBI investigation into Hillary Clinton‘s use of a private email server have told the news network no charges will be filed against the presumptive Democrat presidential nominee.
But not everyone is convinced as to the veracity of that information.
CNN’s Senior Producer Edward Mejia Davis announced the news via his Twitter page on Saturday night.
Sources tell CNN’s Evan Perez: expectation is that there will be announcement of no charges in Clinton email probe w/in next two weeks or so

Clinton herself refused to address the rumors when she spoke to MSNBC Saturday night.
“As we were talking, there are news reporters that indicate no charges may be brought against you and a final decision in a couple of weeks,” Chuck Todd said.
“I am not going to comment on the process. I have no knowledge of any timeline. This is entirely up to the Department,” she replied.
And you can count conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt among those who found the timing of the “source” speaking to CNN to be suspect.
That “source” would have had to have been in this AM’s interview if only for 18 USC 1001 purposes. They called Evan? https://t.co/Fp37aeioWF

1. No. I meant False Statements Act. @CNN source could not know what she said in interview unless source was there https://t.co/C3jw6lcdZJ
— Hugh Hewitt (@hughhewitt) July 2, 2016
2. So while 18 USC 1924 is underlying issue, any “source” would have to have been in meeting to know if https://t.co/C3jw6lcdZJ
— Hugh Hewitt (@hughhewitt) July 2, 2016
3. 18 USC 1001 was violated. Time will tell. I’m just skeptical of any source telling people all is clear for https://t.co/C3jw6lcdZJ
— Hugh Hewitt (@hughhewitt) July 2, 2016
4. @HillaryClinton It may turn out to be, but no one who knows is talking and anyone talking doesn’t know.

Presumptive Republican presidential nominee, Donald Trump, jumped on the news and claimed it was an example of a “rigged system.”
It was just announced-by sources-that no charges will be brought against Crooked Hillary Clinton. Like I said, the system is totally rigged!

They weren’t the only ones angered by the supposed news and skeptical of the sources.
@TeddyDavisCNN @evanperez You mean “sources in @HillaryClinton campaign.” Careful. They weren’t there.

@eddiecarl4468 Hillary campaign is coordinating w/ MSM outlets to help w/ bad PR re FBI interview. Disguised as “sources”. @DavidShuster

@TeddyDavisCNN @michaelshure Gee,what a shock. Right after the AG meets with Bill Clinton to discuss their families. Wow.

Yes, the same FBI that is about to let Hillary skate is the same one that prosecuted hundreds of teenagers for downloading music.
— David Burge (@iowahawkblog) July 2, 2016
It’s a shame that our most trusted law enforcement agency @FBI is giving Hillary a go free card.
