Ever since New York City elected progressive Mayor Bill de Blasio the city has continued to devolve into a liberal dystopia that now is effecting its first responders.
The city’s paramedics and firefighters are now being ordered to take a “Trans 101” sensitivity class to teach them how to interact with people who believe they were supposed to be born another gender, the New York Post reported.
According to the Post the class was created after de Blasio signed a law that allowed people to use public restroom and locker room facilities that coincide with the gender they think they are, rather than the one they actually are.
“It’s never been an issue, but people have made it an issue,” one fireman told the Post. “This is one of those trainings where they’re just preparing for a potential problem.”
City employees and public pools and parks will also have to undergo the training, according to the Post.
