Drunk driving illegal was deported twice, returned a third time to kill this beautiful 14-year-old girl

A beautiful 14-year-old New York girl died last week after months on the edge of life, felled by a Mexican national who was driving drunk last Christmas Eve. The girl died only a few days after GOP Speaker of the House Paul Ryan explained that he doesn’t want to enact a new law because he doesn’t want to “clog jails” with illegals.

Teenager Gianna Bartolucci, died on June 19 from the devastating brain injuries she received from an auto accident caused by a twice deported illegal immigrant named Efrain Lopez-Contreras. The criminal was driving drunk and crossed over from his side of the road and ran head-on into Bartolucci on Christmas Eve, last year. Naturally Lopez-Contreras walked away with just a few scratches while the beautiful young American girl who had her whole life in front of her ended up critically injured.

As the Democrat & Chronicle reported the murderer is being held in the Monroe County Jail in lieu of $100,000 cash bail or $200,000 bond.

It isn’t yet clear if the illegal immigrant will face even more charges now Bartolucci has died as a direct result of her injuries.

But this isn’t the first time that Lopez-Contreras has been arrested in the U.S. and charged with drunk Driving. As the Batavia Daily News reported, repeat offender had also been arrested for drunk driving in July of 2010. He was then charged with 21 traffic violations and was deported after his conviction.

All this comes after Speaker Ryan insisted he doesn’t want to pass the law regarding drunk driving illegals. As Kristinn Taylor noted at Gatewaypundit.com, Speaker Ryan appeared on “The O’Reilly Factor” on June 15, 2016 and insisted he didn’t want to pass “Kate’s Law,” a law named in honor of Kate Steinle that would increase the penalty for illegal immigrants who return to the U.S. after being deported.

“…Point three,” Ryan told O’Reilly, “what we have to figure out is how do we write Kate’s Law so that we’re not clogging up our jails so much for, say, DUI, but for the true violent criminals? … We need to get the details right so that we actually are going after the people that are doing this. …”

Sadly, Kate’s Law is not around to help get justice for the now deceased 14-year-old cheerleader from Clarkson, New York, killed by a twice-deported illegal driving drunk–a crime Speaker Ryan doesn’t seem to think is such a big deal.
