A man who grabbed a child in a Georgia park picked a fight with a cop in this brutal beat-down caught on camera.

Georgia police Officer Brady Pike confronted the man identified by police as David Noles who had inappropriately clutched a child at the park. After releasing the kid, Noles went after the officer by punching him in the face, the LaGrange Daily News reported.

Pike took Noles to the ground but the suspect kept swinging and hitting the officer, who then asked nearby witnesses to call 911.

The brawl ensued until another officer arrived at the scene. With the help of a heroic witness who jumped in to help the two officers, they finally managed to handcuff Noles with children heard crying in the background.

Officer Pike’s body pack, including his body camera, were knocked off during the fight.

“You go to a relatively routine call of a disturbance and then before you know it, you’re in the middle of fight,” LaGrange Public Safety Chief Lou Dekmar told the Daily News. “I have had a preliminary discussion with the patrol supervisor. He feels the officer acted within the departmental standards and policies and within state law enforcement policies … The incident will be reviewed by the department commander, the office of professional standards and me. That is standard on all use-of-force cases.”

The suspect is currently being held on a $7,000 bond, WTVM-TV reported.
