Ted Cruz responds to liking porn video with trademark wit

Sen. Ted Cruz responded to the drama that surrounded his Twitter page “liking” a pornographic video on Tuesday.

The “like” of the two girls one male video set Twitter on fire when it was discovered.

Cruz explained that the “liking” of the video was a “staffing issue” and then used some of his trademark humor, as BPR predicted he would, to add levity to the situation.

But he also gave an actual explanation to reporters.

“It was a staffing issue, and it was inadvertent, it was a mistake, it was not a deliberate action,” the Texas senator told reporters. “There were a number of people on the team that have access to the account, and it appears that someone inadvertently hit the ‘like’ button.”
