M.I.A. claims she was fired for being ‘brown Republican’ after calling Kid Cudi’s fans ‘illegals’

Kid Cudi fired M.I.A. from his Rebel Ragers Tour after she addressed her opposition to illegal immigration on stage.

M.I.A. was one of the openers for Cudi’s tour until a viral May 2 moment in Dallas at the Dos Equis Pavilion triggered backlash among some fans. The singer was booed after her monologue, which included what some called politically-charged content.
