Joe Rogan is not a fan of President Donald Trump’s military actions in Iran and presented a theory on how the launch of attacks was meant as a distraction from the Epstein files.
Speaking on his podcast with guest Arsenio Hall, Rogan agreed that “misdirection” is “the story of American politics,” suggesting examples to make the case, such as former President Bill Clinton “bombing some other countries” to distract from the Monica Lewinsky scandal.
“Look, the Epstein files come out — we go to war with Iran. It’s a good way to get people to stop talking about certain things,” Rogan suggested. “You give them a new problem to think about.”
Joe Rogan: the fact that no one’s being prosecuted for the Epstein Files shows the US is a “sick society.” Doesn’t specify who should be prosecuted, for what crime, or based on what evidence, but that’s nothing new. “There’s some talk about journalists getting in trouble for leaking information about the downed pilot and that they want to prosecute these journalists,” Rogan told Hall, referring to the U.S. Air Force member missing behind enemy lines after Iran shot down the F-15E fighter jet.
“At the same time, no one’s being prosecuted for the Epstein files,” Rogan exclaimed.
Rogan, who endorsed Trump in the 2024 election, has been critical of the president in his podcast episodes, speaking on the Iran topic with fellow podcaster Theo Von recently.
“I’m confused. I can’t believe we went to this war. When we started bombing Iran, I was like, ‘This can’t be true,’” Rogan said, and argued last month that Trump supporters were feeling “betrayed.”
Joe Rogan on Donald Trump and the Iran War:
“It just seems so insane based on what he ran on. This is why a lot of people feel betrayed. He ran on no more wars and these stupid, senseless wars. And then we have one that we can’t even really clearly define why we did it.” pic.twitter.com/eg2bXFOiU0

“I mean, this is why a lot of people feel betrayed, right? He ran on ‘no more wars,’ ‘end these stupid, senseless wars,’ and then we have one that we can’t even really clearly define why we did it,” he said in a March episode.
